Dine-in customers are allowed to order food from the neighbouring food stalls / shops ONLY IF the dine-in customers ordered drinks from their kopitiam. The kopitiam is clean, helpful staff.
If you bring your own tumbler or food container, the staff are happy to assist you either for dine in or take away.
Morning time food : buffet style fast food ie meehoon, popia, fried chicken wings, tofu, curry fishball, kuih lenggang, butter cake slices etc and homemade breads and traditional breakfast menu such as half boiled eggs, toasted bread, nasi lemak, roti with kuah kacang satay - a good place for a quick bite. Night time food : not much option other than Nasi Lemak & Fried Chicken Wing but this one can sold out very fast too!
New menu French Toast Bread (thick bread slices). Beverages made by the morning beverage maker is one of the best I've had. Especially teh tarik or nescafe ping. You can ask the drinks for less, less sweet, or less condensed milk if you like.
The place is always fully occupied during peak hours ie breakfast, lunch, tea-break. Closed every Monday - sometimes they will open on Mondays in case there’s a long weekend holiday. They will put up notice in advance for...
Read moreFound this place on another food blog with claims of being one of the best toasted bread places in KK. Could they live up to the claim? Read on as we did a Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen review.
Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen is a quaint coffee shop located within a complex, with many other coffee shops, restaurants, cafe and retail outlets.
What makes Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen stand out is its fluffy bread with a generous serving of butter.
Paired with either kaya (known as roti kahwin) or peanut butter, you get an excellent bread that goes well when washed down with their signature milk tea. Or you can opt for coffee instead, which tastes equally good.
I would suggest getting two half boiled eggs to dip your bread in though. As that will give a burst of flavors in your mouth.
Brotip: Parking is a bit of a hassle, so be prepared to Grab or make a few rounds. Don't forget to place your parking ticket as the attendant is...
Read morethis is my first visit and will be the last. the staff is not friendly and there is no instructions on how to order whether at the table with menu or order at the counter. no signage it is a self service and don't have any signage of where is the pick up counter. When ask at the counter what can we order for food, the casher only point her finger to the main price menu full of bread and drinks above her. but we found out actually they do have rice n noodle n other stuff. they are basically just unfriendly n not helpful, don't expect to have positive interactions with them as a customer. Bad customer experience, nobody at the counter even they see u at the counter but they just don't bother. In short, think twice before you come and you can have a better food at other...
