I had an amazing time here at Al-Yemen restaurant. My colleague and I had the Chiken Mandy Rice, Chicken Kalbush Rice, Mix Grill, and the meat Humus.
The rice dish was great. The chicken was soft, juicy, and fell of the bone tender. The soup and the spicy tomato side really complement the rice dish as it is very flavorful.
The Mix Grill is also the star of the meal. I really like the chicken and beef shish kebab. It was so well season, and the thought of it is mouth watering. It does also comes with beef & chicken chunks with a side of fries and some grill tomatoes and onion.
Last but not least was the humus. The humus was good as well, but I think I prefer the humus without the meat.

The worst place to buka puasa. We ordered food the day before. Came before maghrib. Place is too crowded, tables and seats arranged too closely together in small confined space. By the time to break fast, none of our orders arrived. Most of the other customers tables were still empty.
Fortunately free drink and soup was provided FOC, need to queue up to get them.
Prayer room too small, can only accomodate 3 ppt at a time.
Beyond 1 hour after maghrib my ordered food and drink haven't arrived yet. So were many of other customers'. Grab food rider also was waiting outside.
Very warm atmosphere despite small space with 5 aircond units makes waiting worse.
Very poor service. No point taking orders one day before if you cannot deliver on time.
If cannot accomodate large crowd please limit your seats. Even good food will not taste good in this...

I ordered Zurbian lamb (similar to Briyani rice, mixed with lamb), Rashoosh (Yemeni bread) and ground beef’s foul.
The rice is full of flavor and has a very special aroma which enlighten my appetite. The minced ground beef mixed with gravy, cooked in a stone pot, which is very unique and eye opening. The Yemeni bread is chewy and if u topped with gravy, it taste amazingly.
The staff is friendly and well serving.
The only drawback is the restaurant didn’t have a proper air conditioning function, which the heat make me quite uncomfortable when having lunch. The hygiene of the washroom also need to improve, in my opinion.
Overall, i still highly recommend this place for...
