🌿A beautiful cafe surrounded by stunning foliage and greenery, contributing to its calm, quiet atmosphere. Deducted a star because of the terrible parking. 😤

If you're coming here, I strongly recommend coming as early as possible around 11.30 am or get someone to drop you off. The parking is so limited and cramped. The compound can fit only 10 cars and there was only 1 spot left when I arrived at 11.45 am.

This is a house that happens to be a cafe. The entrance is literally a doorway to the house and inside, you get a lovely waiting area where you can order your food. The garden area seating is located outside and connected by sliding doors. The aircond isn't as cold as the other reviews say it is. It's just comfortable.

🏠 LOCATION AND PARKING -easy to locate but awful, tiny parking lot. -opposite SGH and Kozi square.

🌿VIBES -laidback, chill, calm and quiet. Wasn't very noisy when I went there. Saw some people working on laptops so it's quite conducive. Not sure about sockets tho. -seats were cushioned and comfortable -lots of shade and natural sunlight filtered through gauzy blinds

🌯FOOD -Serves mostly western food (spaghetti, lasagna etc) with emphasis on Italian breads such as panini, focaccia, chiabatta -has a variety of affordable cakes -sandwiches quite affordable (RM 14) compared to other places but drinks are very expensive. -I tried the chicken toast focaccia. Bread was perfectly toasted and the ham was good, vegetables were fresh but the mustard was a bit too salty. -the green apple tea is disappointing. Too sweet. Tasted like cheap apple syrup.

💰PRICE -two people can eat a sandwich and drink 1 drink each for about RM 65+ (no cakes)

🚽TOILET -there is a toilet with a bathtub. Cleanliness was quite good but there was no bidet.

👋🏻SERVICE -food service was quick. Cashier could be a little friendlier though but overall, everyone was very nice.

🌿Bonus -there is an interconnecting garden and a backyard where you can explore or pose for photos. -there's a loft but I didn't go there! -the garden is also connected to Leanne Farm where a variety of orchids and ornamental plants are sold. -there's a private dining space which I assume you can rent -love the vintage tile pattern ⭐

I'd come back again but only if someone else drives me. If you're bringing a big party here, I...

Was craving Bing lasagna after few years of not having it. I think the last time I had it was in one of the OG branch, and it was quite a disappointing experience (lasagna was cold in the middle, and after requesting for it to be reheated, the staff microwaved the whole plate, including the side salad). It was an honest mistake I believe, but it was surprising since I used to work at Bing and it felt like the quality of the service has dropped, but then again with training, surely all can be improve.

Anyhow, I love the atmosphere at this new branch. There were quite a lot of customers, but not to the point of no parking or double parking as mentioned in most comments. I think it was because of the timing. Me and my brother came here today's evening (Thursday) at 4 pm for our late lunch. The staff were doing their best in serving us. Our tiramisu came to our table 5 minutes after we were seated, and the overall food and drinks were served within 10 minutes after the order was made. We also got 10% percent discount with H&L card, that's good too. So, in all, I'm looking forward to come again for perhaps the burger and sandwiches.

Edited: Oh yea, I realized that my lasagna was served with grated mozarella (or maybe parmesan?) on top. That's not how I remember how it was usually served. The grated cheese should have been placed before reheating, so it would melt. Unless it was parmesan, so that shouldn't be a problem. As for the paprika powder. I did ask the staff to not overdo the paprika, so when my plate came I didn't think much about it. We cleaned this plate happily as it was as good as I remembered it. However, do take notes. Unmelted grated cheese might not sit well for some people. Keep up the good...

Went here a few weeks ago with a bit of a high expectation considering their other branches are fine.

However, one of the staffs was so rude when I brought one of the chairs from other table because I was sitting at the table which I've been told by the rude staff it was only for 3 people as I was waiting for 3 other friends. When I arrived, only the big tables were available and I was being considerate to get the small table as we didn't want to hog a big table. At first, one other staff told me to put the chair back when we were done which was OK, but then came another staff who had a rude tone telling us we can't bring the chair to the table. And when we asked if there are extra chairs, he replied very rudely saying "No. Only for 3 person". Did not even apologise or say it in a kind tone.

So, then we moved to the table where we took the chair. There was also a group of customers at the other table at the room nearby the men's washroom. I find it appalling that the staff knew there were customers, but didn't on the aircond. Maybe it was broken, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Then, when our orders arrived, we were not given cutleries. But when two of my other friends received their orders later, they were given cutleries.

So disappointed. Don't think I want to visit...

Garden Cafe by bing! Coffee is located right across landmarks such as Kozi Square and Sarawak General Hospital (SGH). Always remember to take a left turn of you'll miss it. Its exactly what it says on the tin; a cafe and with a garden nearby. The interior of the cafe is reminiscent of a house in the 70's/80's from what I observe of the design. The deco also is minimalistic and the atmosphere is chill and relaxed. No, its very chilly inside please wear something warm. The cafe has a main house area and the greenhouse-like area with seats. They have a nice range of menu to choose from, from sandwiches, cakes, pasta, burgers etc. The beverages also have great options to choose from but what I love the most is that there is oat milk available to replace dairy milk. Theres not many cafes that have that option. My favourite from Garden Cafe is panini, ciabatta, lasagna and chocolate brownie. Those are pretty much the staples of bing! from ages ago and the taste has always been consistently delicious. I will always recommend them to people. The only downsides to the cafe is the extremely limited parking space and limited seats available. I recommend heading over at around 3pm-ish at any day and pray to get a seat. Other than that, always love the place.
