I ordered through the KFC app and chose pickup from KFC Tanahmas. The app showed my order as ongoing but stated it would be ready at 1:48 PM. I arrived at 1:44 PM, went to the counter, and asked the staff if my food was ready. The girl at the counter said it wasn’t, so I sat down and waited.
After sitting there for about 15 minutes, I went back to the counter to ask again. This time, the same staff member just pointed at the plastic bag with my food in it. Clearly, the food was already ready—but no one bothered to call me.
Here’s the issue:
If the staff didn’t know my name, why not call out the order number ? Why let customers sit there waiting when the food is already done? Why should customers have to keep checking themselves if the order is ready?
This is not fair service. While other customers were being served, I was just left waiting unnecessarily even though my food was ready. A simple call of the order number would have solved everything.
I KNOW CUSTOMER PAID THE ORDER VIA APP ALREADY, DOESN'T MEAN THE ORDER HAS BEEN TAKEN OR NOT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSSINESS.
The staff is a girl, I forgot to get her name, but I remember the face.

Read moreI arrived at Sibu by 6:45am today, 31/3/25. I parked my car and take a rest for a while. A few moments later , I feel like want to have something to eat. I look around and saw KFC outlet.I am not familiar with Sibu town so I decided to walk in .I want to have a cup of hot coffee because it's raining outside and maybe can get some other light meals such as mash potatoes / fries.
