For those who have left negative reviews, Iâve taken the time to reflect on a few key points:
Taste is subjective â What doesnât suit your palate might be just fine for others. Personally, I have no issue with the taste, especially when it comes to halal mee kolok â and Sepinang Sari delivers that just right.
On the queue and waiting time â There are solutions if you're not a fan of waiting:
Option A: Pre-order your meal a day or night in advance for pickup. This helps you avoid the queue entirely and skips the usual 1-hour food prep time after ordering.
Option B: Reserve a table. This allows you to bypass the queue for dine-in, though do note the 1-hour food prep still applies regardless.

Read moreThe best mi kolok Ive ever taste so far. Mi kolok from this shop is the tastiest Ive ever tried since I live in Kuching. The portion is generous. Mi kolok i tasted before, the soy sauce quite sweet which i dont prefer. The seasoning they used to mix with the mi taste savoury n blend well with the soup. The only thing I would like them to improve is to add more staff. A same staff clean the table and make drink. But maybe because I went there during Gawai so maybe some of their staff on leave. And you have to arrive before 7am if u want to not queue for quite some time. The price is quite pricey but for me if the food is good so i dont mind much. Eventhough the staffs look so stress because they dont have enough manpower, but their customer service still good. They still greet and ask politely whenever they talk...

The menu is decent, nothing overwhelming, but you come here for the classics anyway. Taste-wise, itâs decent too, though perhaps not the life-changing bowl of noodles some hype it up to be. Price is a touch on the higher side considering the humble setting, so donât be shocked when the bill feels a bit more âcity cafĂ©â than âkopitiam.â The environment is alright, but it gets packed easily, so be prepared to share tables or eat with the soundtrack of clinking bowls and chatter. Staff are okay, not exactly warm hugs but they get the job done. The best part is its location in town, though parking can be a little nightmare. Will I come back again? Maybe, if Iâm nearby and craving a...
