I was here with my love one And i am writing this review here 5mins later after i had my so call dinner of the day. We ordered chicken cordon blue and grill salmon nasi kerabu. As a highly recommended restaurant, i would wanna complaint much about the food here. The salmon on nasi kerabu was extremely burned and i think its made off unhealthy oil that causing the food to looks black. I wonder if they ever change the oil for cooking. We rang the bell to complain but the manager of this branch nvr attended our complain. While the new trainee did so. My set of chicken cordon blue, the chicken meat was not fresh and it even taste a little sour. What the hell on earth did secret recipe thought the outlet to do? Selling expired food to customers! Honestly other outlet not as bad as this.

The restaurant recently had a facelift and it is now located at the second floor. It looks more aesthetically pleasing with a plastic maple tree as the centrepiece which gives an autumn ambience. Looks like they're aiming for a more upscale dining experience. The menu prices remain the same but the environment is much better now. Feels more high class. The physical menus have returned and you can call the waiters to order. Ambience and lighting is cozy, nice and relaxed with jazz music. Service is usually fast for juice and cake (not sure about other food). Prices are reasonable for afternoon tea and the staff are polite. Tables are a little small but can seat a party of 4 with no problem.

I could have give it a five star. Craving for cheesecake, bought the creme brulee and almost going to finish it, I bite into an egg shell. At first I'm okay and give it a chance maybe was just that particular spot. After another 2 scoops, bite the egg shell again. Really i can't take it. I'm fine, only that I'm craving for something turns worst killing my mood. There was no Manager around but the staff handle it professionally.

I wish I can give a 0 star for these people working in both the cashier and in the kitchen. Y'all are literally trying to poison your customers. Ordered a spaghetti and I really don't know why it would take 40 minutes to prepare a REHEATED spaghetti.... If y'all reheat your food that was pre made god knows how long ago, at least reheat it for a longer period of time lah.... Literally just served and then there is a big ass clump of frozen oil in my spaghetti... You call yourselves premium food with premium quality? You can honestly take that embarrassment of a quote and wipe it on your ass. When I asked for a staff to help check what this clump of substance is, she said to change it for me. But in the end, these people just microwaved my food again, I can literally tell it was microwaved, because the whole bowl was hot... Y'all really are shameless people who just wants to get everything done without putting any...
