If I could not rating any stars at all, I would.
I needed a space and internet to do my work as I was waiting my phone to be fixed within the compound so no way I have my hotspot to do my work.
Before proceeding my order, I asked the cashier, do you have WiFi here? Cashier said "you need to order a drink to get the WiFi code, and you need to register in order to get the code" To confirm with her, so I asked, so I need a WiFi before connecting to internet? She said "once you connected to the WiFi you will be linked", granted, proceed with my order.
I ordered a cold brew, money charged. Cashier came to me and said to me "cold brew out of stock, would you like to have a refund / swap another drink?" Swapped for the ice americano, and didnt even bother to refund me the difference (ice americano cost less than cold brew). That's the start.
Realize WiFi didn't work, the sole reason I was there for. And I asked a lady who was walking around "Excuse me, it doesn't seem like the WiFi is working". Let me check, she said.
Came back to me, "I think WiFi has an issue, mine also cant be connected. Sorry ya"
It happened on 5 August 2025, around 12:20pm (in case the staff may defend this is a hater comment).
My take, Starbucks would have done much better back in the days. I missed those days when you can look for Starbucks, an environment to do your work by ordering drinks from them. Now? I'd never walk in any Starbucks for this mediocre service and...

The alfresco seating is a hidden gem, letting you enjoy Kuching's tropical breeze while sipping your drink. Indoors, the cozy corners with plush chairs make ideal spots for reading or casual chats. Ordered the iced caramel macchiato - perfectly layered as always - and paired it with their chocolate croissant that arrived delightfully warm.
What makes this location special is the weekday afternoon tranquility. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, giving space to relax. The clean, well-maintained space shows they care about the customer experience. Free WiFi worked flawlessly for some light work.
Only note: The mall parking can get hectic during peak hours, but afternoons are smooth.
Rating: 4.5/5 - The ideal Starbucks for when you want your coffee fix with a side of serenity. Proof that good coffee tastes even...

So i explain to him again only for him to tell me that there are out of venti and only left with grande. Im okay with that, it’s just that I already pay for a venti.
