Absolutely Appalling – Avoid This Place at All Costs

I never thought I’d leave a 1-star review for a restaurant — I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, especially having worked in the service industry myself. But this restaurant earned this rating, and honestly, even 1 star feels generous.

Let’s start with the service — or complete lack thereof. The place is fully indoors, air-conditioned, and seemingly decent at first glance, which is why we chose it — we wanted to enjoy a comfortable meal. What we got instead was a fly-infested nightmare. Flies were everywhere — on the table, hovering over our food, landing on our plates. When we raised our concerns to the manager, he couldn’t have cared less. He sat at the front counter doing absolutely nothing, refused to check the situation, and blatantly avoided us. Eventually, we gave up and packed the food to-go. Unbelievable.

The food? Completely forgettable. Nothing stood out, nothing worth coming back for — especially when you consider that you have to eat amongst fly.

Worst service ever. Owner have to be fair and transparent with overwhelming guest.

I came here alone to find a seat for my family of 5 with a baby. I was waiting for a table that is about to leave, then multiple group of people including kids, snatching tables. I was alone hence I could not fight back. What's worst is that the owner came to me and say they came first. I was clear that when I came in, nobody was standing and looking for seats. Everyone that came in for seats came in after me. Just because I was alone, they didn't notice me?

What logic is that? The only reasons I could think of is, these customers are his friends or whatever reason it is. The boss is very rude and should think of a proper system with queue.

This place deserves to be reviewed, took a drive down from KL and decided to check this place out from the reviews. It definitely was worth the trip. Very good price and really fresh seafood.

We had the siakap fish and butter squid and Butter squid floss was one of the best to date that I have tried and the combo of fresh squid truly tantalised our taste buds. Siakap fish with lime and chilli was bursting with good spicy tangy flavour.
