Warong Udang Galah — Restaurant in Selangor

This place is easy to find. Just follow the googlemap direction. It will lead you to a small fishing village type warong.

Weekdays...it's easy to get a table for two or any pax below 50. Please be advised...you have to book early on weekends... at least a day before if you have a big group.

Food is ok... pricewise it is reasonable. You can get fresh udang galah, siakap and squid. If you wanna go in a group as a family, make sure you call to book if it's a weekend. Sometime the squid is not available. Tomyam is also available anytime. The udang galah you can order per KG basis and request to be cooked as you wish. Siakap you can order big or small to be cooked as you desire.

The only thing which makes me unconfortable is... the roof is too low. Man! I am talking about a metal roofing 7 ft high in a scorching afternoon sun. Luckily the place is by the river side and also near the sea. The sea breeze did reduce the heat.

Food - the portion is quite large, so if u r super hungry, the carb & protein is more than enough to satisfy yr hunger. Taste wise, however, is not at par with other known eateries. Mee bandung, despite generous in quantity, with 3 udang galah...tastes on the 'sweeter" side to be fully enjoyed. Price is pretty reasonable /cheap range. The restaurant is shaded with lpw zinc roofing, which cause sweltering heat in mid afternoon. Big fans are provided by the owner, but its just moving hot air around. Service is pretty slow, it took approx 30+ mins for the order to arrive, when there were only 2 other occupied tables besides us at the time of visit.

We came on weekdays (Friday) around 1pm. Not crowded or what. Okey je.

Parking easy. And location easy to find.

Taste was good but not consider as too good. Basically I don’t feel like to repeat here again. One time is enough to taste and experience it. You guys can try to eat here. But at the same takdelah tak sedap. Okay je. But i dont try others menu. They have goreng2 something with prawn as well.

Per bowl RM12.00 for mee bandung with giant freshwater prawn aka udang galah and same goes with kuey teow with giant freshwater prawn. Can refer photos. Per bowl can get around 3 giant freshwater prawn.
