Chiang Kee Chicken on l强记鸡饭 (Pasir Penambang) — Restaurant in Selangor

A small family restaurant located directly opposite the wet market in the heart of the busy tourist spot of Pasir Penambang in Kuala Selangor serves some really delicious and authentic chicken rice. Many may pass this restaurant due to its old and pretty shabby exterior appearance, but its food surprises even me who dropped by for my lunch mainly due to some overcrowding in other restaurants around the area. Premises is small with limited tables and seats but their chicken rice is worth a try. Prices are normal but parking can be a hassle especially during the weekends and public holidays. Recommended to give this a try if you are in the vicinity....

Cozy chinese mamak located beside pasar pagi. It opens early in the morning, I went there at around 8.30 am. Ordered chicken rice, dry noodles and sea coconut. Chicken rice was pretty good, well cooked And portions were just right. The dry noodles was okay but lacked a bit of flavour. Could be improved. The drink was good but mine had some ants floating so kinda lost my appetite there. But overall, for the price its great value. The service was quick, food came within 10 minutes and waiter was really nice and friendly. Two people price was barely 20 rm. Atmosphere is okay, clean, like any...

Came here for breakfast around 6.30am and we ordered porridge and noodle soup. This place opens at 5.30am and the staff is friendly. Still early so parking is easy, right in front of the restaurant. Porridge is still acceptable but noodles are so so (very bland). Wanted to try to curry and prawn noodles but not ready yet as it is still early (perhaps can try to chicken rice next time).
