We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist Elly. Such a sweet girl. We had booked a premium room corner lot with a King size bed and a balcony. There are only 2 King size rooms at this hotel. The room was of decent size but so badly arranged. It had an open wardrobe with a table fixed to the wall (so could not move the table and a stool underneath, one nightstand near the wardrobe and none on the other side of the bed which had a very big chair (only for one person) and alas, the balcony was for standing only. No chair no table. Such a lousy arrangement of furniture. So my husband sat on the armchair and I either had the stool that fitted under the fixed table or the bed! I don't know who designed this but in my view it's pretty senseless. Why not put 2 chairs and a small table on the balcony so we can enjoy the view? How long can you stand outside? So ridiculous. Waste of time to even book these rooms, since they have a big terrace on each floor for everyone to enjoy.||||The bath towels are very new and soft and fluffy so it leaves some fluff on the skin and my husband has very sensitive skin. So we ask for another towel, not so new...they told us if we wanted an extra towel it was free...2 extra towels you had to pay RM5 per towel! We only wanted to exchange one.||||Then after the first night, because the pillow is not very comfortable, we asked for extra pillows. Same thing: one extra pillow: free...more than one you will be charged RM5 per pillow!!! Could not believe. so preposterous.||||We also noticed the hot water after a certain time at night was kind of lukewarm. The following day we wanted to take shower around 10am and the water was cold. We called and asked why and they told us the hot water had been switched off. So we made a big fuss about it and they came and switched it back on.||||This is absolutely ridiculous. No matter about the lay-out of the furniture but the fact that you have to pay for extra towel, extra pillow and that the hot water is on only at certain time, they should put it on their website to advise customers and to avoid such aggravations and frustrations.||||The room was very clean and all the staff at the hotel is very friendly. We came here to try their seafood restaurant and the restaurant was closed for renovation to be re-open around March next year (??). Again, why don't they put it on their website?||||The problem lies with the owner/management. I don't think we will ever go back to that hotel unless they change their policies.||||TIPS:||Since I can't put my tip in the place below, I would advise you not to bother to book King size room (which is the most expensive). You can always enjoy the large terrace on each floor. Be careful about booking standard rooms, some have no windows...it's like being...

The staff were adamant that we could not to check in any earlier,so we just sat bored in the small reception area for 2 hours. (Somewhat ridiculous when check out is 11am, low occupancy, and the room was obviously available).||We had booked a Premium King room, which was on the first floor and had a balcony overlooking the river. Strangely, there were no chairs or table provided on the balcony.|The room was modern, well furnished and tastefully decorated. The bed was super-comfortable and we slept very well; Though there was only one pillow per person. Two would have been much better... The area is very quiet at night.||The bathroom arrangement was a bit odd. . There is a normal shower head and a rain shower head in the corner of the room, but with no curtain or screen, so the entire bathroom floor gets wet with water and takes forever to dry out. However, the water temperature, water pressure & toilet flush were all good||The TV only had local Malay channels - Nothing in English. A kettle was provided, and there was a small refrigerator which was stocked with soft drinks. To our surprise these were free!|No breakfast is provided at the hotel, but there is a 99 Speedmart across the road and we had brought some breads with us. For dinner, there are only local kampung seafood restaurants in the immediate vicinity (questionable hygeine standards) - So as we were going on a boat trip the next morning, we didnt want to risk upset stomachs, so we ordered Grab Food to the hotel.||We were actually pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Keep up the...
Read moreWe had a 2D1N stay at this hotel that was booked by the local agency. The experience in the room is horrible, creepy and irritating! ||We got Room #217. First glance was ok, there wasn’t anything when we checked the room. Hours later, ants 🐜crawled out from the cracks at the side of the toilet. Not 1, but many! They were crawling around everywhere! 🐜🐜🐜 There were also ants found in the mattresses. Oh! And lizard was crawling around the area where we placed our shoes and we had to chase it out in the middle of the night. 😱||We spent 1.5 hours clearing the pests in our luggage and bags as we definitely didn’t want to bring any 🐜🦎back home! And luckily we did that, as the ants were already in our bags and clothes!||This was the worst and creepiest experience I had in a hotel like this. By the way, the ants were not small, they were huge. Once someone is bitten by them, it will hurt. Glad that none of my children got bitten as we sprayed and applied insect repellent all over their body and clothes!||However, the staff at the concierge, Aini, is nice. She helped us with the check in despite the bad experience we had therefore the 2 star if for the staff.||Overall, with the bad experience we had at this hotel, there is NO WAY we are coming back there...
