Restoran Tian Wai Tian 天外天海鲜餐室 — Restaurant in Selangor

Called earlier to check if they still had stock of crabs. Was assured that they had 2 kgs and will check if they had another 1 kg and that they would reserve the crabs for us. With the assurance we drove for about half hour to the restaurant.

After sitting down for about twenty minutes, was informed that they only had 1 crab left. The lady had the gall to lie to us that their crab delivery was on the way and that he had stopped picking up the phone. This was clearly a lie as said delivery man obviously did not show up and this is contrary to our earlier conversation. They refused to admit their mistake and kept insisting that it was the fault of the crab delivery man which pissed us off even more.

Food was overall tasty and reasonably priced but the fact that they cocked up our order and refused to admit it (we later saw them serving crabs to the table beside us) left a bad taste. Dishonest traders. Will not...

Was introduce to this restaurant by a local. One of the few Chinese restaurant that serves pork. A lot of local people dining there.

We were there on a father's day dinner. A lot of people. Have to wait for the dishes to be served. My thoughts were the dishes will be lousy because too many people dining. I was wrong. The chef really not a simple and ordinary chef. He can handle the crowds and dishes served were perfectly cooked and it taste good as well.

One of the better seafood restaurants in this area. And surprisingly cheap as well.

Our receipt for 3 pax is attached. Came out to 104.xx which is pretty decent considering we had 3 crabs in the bihun. The crabs were quite fresh and tasty.

Not shown in pictures is a orchien (pardon my poor kanji) or oyster omelette. That was surprising, because it was more like the Malay style prawn fritter or cucur udang.

Service was halfway decent, I can't speak Chinese so we fumbled our way thru the ordering process. Luckily they have menus here.
