Love Earth Cafe — Restaurant in Selayang Municipal Council

Food is tasty and great! But I have to give a bad review as we waited close to one hour for our food to arrive, whereby the table next to us (who arrived later than us) received their food 5 minutes after they sat down.

We have voiced out our dissatisfaction when the next table already received their first item and we yet to receive any. But the kitchen still focuses on serving them and not us. For the next ten minutes, we just have to watch them serving another table who came later than us.

The explanation given was that the other chef was handling different category of food they ordered. It didn’t make sense to us because we saw both tables have two similar items: sushi rolls and rice.

My favourite go-to for a filling, delicious vegetarian meal. The portion is quite big, and the mock meat tastes really similar to real meat, which makes me very happy. The staffs are really friendly and will always recommend their specials of the day. Happy to come back always.

3/4/2023 - Came back here with husband and vegetarian in-laws. Our first post-covid visit. Food is still as good as before, and the specials are now available on all days, which means I get my Japanese bento whenever I drop by 😊

I recommend the mix fruit tea cos it's infused with many different fruits like apple and passion fruit, and it's big enough for 4 and even 5 people!

Loved the Udon Noodles. Broth is super delicious. Loved that it's salty with the seaweed umami. Loaded with broccoli, hedgehog mushrooms, shitake & enoki mushrooms. Carrots & tomatoes. Milky soup with salted vegetable base. Portion is above average. Still one of my favorites here.

2nd order is set dinner rice. Generous portion again. Most important food is tasty! Served with chickpeas, tofu, kung po fried mushrooms, bok choy vegetables, cabbage salads with sweet sour dressing. Soup of the day is watercress.

For spice lovers, can try their own made sambal. Nice.

Parking is not an issue. Great for vegam as they seldom or don't serve mock meat.
