Very good tonkotsu ramen, one of my favorites. This is a must visit spot for me whenever I come to Mitsui. Not cheap but good. The ramen noodles like the original Japanese noodles, you can select the hardness of the noodles at your preference. The broth is thick but not too thick and salty like others, it is well fit. As the Char Sius was grilled before serving, the aroma is really good and it goes into the thick broth which is really good. Thick Char Siu was tender and soft, very well prepared. The hanjuku tamago was very nice. The egg york is still in lava state. On one occasion, the owner just came and met with the manager. This is operated by the Japanese, no wonder the quality is well maintained. This is the Japanese ramen restaurant that is worth revisiting whenever you come to MOP. The price is slightly higher, starting from RM28 to 38. But it is worth the good quality...

I’ve been a big fan of this place for the past four years and live nearby, so I’ve visited many times. However, I was quite disappointed with my today experience. The soup, which used to be a rich, thick bone broth, has now become noticeably thinner and lacks the depth of flavour it once had.

The noodles were also not cooked to my request—I asked for them to be soft, but both ramen orders came out with a firm texture. It seems that the quality control might no longer be consistent, possibly due to the entire operation now being handled by foreign workers who may not have a strong background or understanding of Japanese or Asian cuisine. This could be affecting the authenticity and standard of the food.

Given the current quality, it no longer feels worth the high spending—around RM100 for two bowls of ramen and one plate of...

Food is nice, price slightly high and POOR SERVICES MANNERS

15/9/22 approximately 645pm. I requested sesame, thank to the waitress who gave me in small portion.

Second time i requested the waiter said they dont have sesame in their kitchen. I show him the 3 sesame seeds left on the source plate from the waitress.

HE when to kitchen and returned with sesame with a statement “ This is the last time”.

I told him “ take it back”

HE clarified that “we dont usually serve sesame”

“Take it back” i said again.

“It already taken out from the bottle” HE said.

“TAKE IT BACK!” I affirmed.

You can charge me for additional sesame request, but dont LIE and RUDE to customer. Your shop is the only ramen shop that dont provide sesame.

FIRST...
