After the airport we proceeded to Mitsui Outlet Stores in Sepang. Nice selection of athletic shoes and apparel, but walking around made us crave for a good meal. Luckily, we chanced upon CBTL (Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf) on the upper floor. We had their fantastic All-in Bagels with Salmon and Cream Cheese. One coffee preparation I would highly recommend from CBTL is their Gibraltar Latte. It could hold its own versus the best that great Third Wave coffee shops can offer. We also had their special "Purple" pastries to commemorate their 25th anniversary, the Murasaki Blondie a cake that's a combination of nutty purple yam (Ube in the Philippines)and white chocolate brownie priced at MYR14.90 a slice and the Coco Yam Tart which combines coconut with purple yam at MYR13.90 a slice. Satisfying meal highlighted by great service.

Ordered their iced strawberry matcha latte but what I got was a total disappointment, not worth with the price at all (RM 17+) the matcha doesn’t taste like matcha at all, taste like a tap water with some strawberry puree in it. The staffs weren’t friendly or pleased to take order/serve at us at all, even screamed my name out loud with rude tone(?) because I misheard once, I thought it wasn’t my name because I just order the drink but they served my drink in a split second as if they didn’t follow the recipe at all, rushing, playing phones, no wonder it tasted like absolute NOTHING. The worst branch ever, I won’t recommend or come here ever again. (Not until they improved the recipe and service)

Ordered an ice blended hazelnut frap. I said double shot, i expected the cashier to charge one extra shot. That's how i usually order at Starbucks. But she charged twice espresso shot and claimed that i can taste strong coffee only with 2 extra shots. I was like nani?! Wrong on many levels. Shouldnt she check with me first? What's worse was that, for the RM21 coffee i paid for, i didnt taste strong coffee other than sweet hazelnut syrup. I worked as barista before, im a serious coffee lover, i know my coffee. And im sorry that just sucks.

Honestly this is the worst branch of CB ever. Went there last week with my husband. Ordered my regular order & asked the guy at the cashier whether I could get a cup of ices? He said can and they wont charge for it which is good.

Suddenly when i went to take the order, there’s one lady (also a staff) gave my order along with a small (tester cup size) cup of ices and laughing at me when i took it. I honestly did not get why she laughed at me until i ordered the same one on other branch. The other branch gave me a full cup of ices and they said “mmg kami bg customer ices dlm cup besar, bukan tester cup. Pls report branch kt Mitsui tu sbb dia tipu you”.

They definitely lied to me and i never felt this disappointed before. I hope that the lady will get what she deserves it the future....
