Daun Kesom — Restaurant in Sepang

When we first arrived, there was nobody to serve us. When I approached a lady (makcik with free hair), she redirected me to another man (pakcik). I thought, “Is it wrong to expect them to take note of my order?”

Then, the pakcik who was preparing drinks failed to understand my request and ignored me. I intended to order two drinks, but he only heard one. I had to inform another staff member nearby. A few minutes later, I had to repeat my order to the same pakcik.

When the drinks were ready, they were not delivered to our table. Even if it’s a self-service setup, it would have been nice if we were informed that our drinks were ready after waiting for a while. I went to the counter to pick up the drinks, but to my surprise, the drinks were tied at the top. I never asked for the drinks to be tied or packed, as my family and I intended to drink them there.

Suggestions: Be more attentive to customers’ situations. Pay closer attention when customers place their orders. Inform customers once their order is ready.

Note: Not all customers are familiar with the culture of the shop, whether it’s self-service or full-service.

Ordered asam pedas ikan pari here (it is not on menu but i ask), it is so worth it with the prices and the size of the meal. But my suggestion is to not included the telur goreng in set asam pedas as the rasa of asam pedas will tenggelam, instead can replace with telur masin 😊. My friend ordered set talapia geprek, he said it is delicious and worth the try. I don't understand why there is not a lot of people come here because the foods are delicious and the have verities of food with affordable prices. Will repeat...

We have a dinner here and try to order some western meals and mee kari. What I can say about their mee kari is it taste very delightful and unique from any ordinary mee kari. I notices that they put 'daun ketumbar' instead of 'daun kari'. The bowl size might feel small but it served enough portion for you.

The other highlight meal is Nasi Lemak Chicken Grill. The sambal is amazing. It taste sweet and spicy. The chicken grill felt tender and juicy covered with a delicious black pepper sauce. Really recommended you...
