Restoran Mad Ayam Kampung — Restaurant in Sepang

I went to this restaurant with my family last weekend for lunch. We actually wanted to go to the restaurant next door, but we saw that this one had more customers. So we decided to give it a try.

The restaurant serves a variety of Malay local dishes. I was amazed by the choices they had. It's atmosphere is not as nice as the next door restaurant. The next door restaurant has a very nice interior design. But this one is more simple and plain. But the food and drinks are good. I had white rice with daging kawah (beef stew), and some ladies fingers (okra) on my plate and a glass of ice tea. I ate it with budu (fermented fish sauce) which my wife got earlier. I also tried some paru (beef lung) that my wife ordered. Everything was delicious.

The restaurant got very crowded after a while. It seems like a popular place for lunch. The total bill for five of us was around RM70. Maybe because we ordered a lot of dishes. But I think it was worth it.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and the service at this restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Malay local dishes. It's a good place to try something...

Went for lunch at 2pm. Only left with ayam kampung and few kuah. Almost finished. It’s okay. We took:- 2 1/2 rice 1 vege 2pcs ayam kampung 1 bowl masak lemak lala (RM6) 2 plain water 1 ice tea = RM31

Ridiculously expensive for this. Ayam kampung not even big.

I asked to redo the calculation, it went to RM30. The cashier even sarcastically commented that INI SY KIRA BASED APA YG AKAK CAKAP, SY TAK NAMPAK APA YG AKAK AMBIK.

One of the nicest lunch places you can try in this area. But it be will packed full of people especially during lunch. On weekdays, finding parking could be difficult as the space is quite limited. Quite big number of cars were double parked. Do not forget to leave your phone number ya if you double park. Price is reasonable, I guess averagely - this is cyberjaya prices range. Their specialty is ayam kampung and I can guarantee you, it is nice here. Definitely recommended...
