Delapan Huruf Char Kuey Tiaw — Restaurant in Sepang

I contacted them on Whatsapp to make a booking during Ramadhan and it was about 3 weeks away. They just said ok and gave the menu for us to place the order first. On the day that I booked, I came to the restaurant only to find it close. I was so shocked and confused because they haven't told me anything about closing the shop. I tried calling them a couple of times but to no avail. There was only 10 minutes left before breaking my fast. I was so frustrated that I had to desperately look for another restaurant. A few times before, I did also come to their restaurant( bringing along my family because i wanted them to try it) at 5pm+ but they closed it even though I came on weekdays. Frusrated by the service, I therefore not recommend this place until they fix their service.

Edit: They messaged me the day after and told me that they had an emergency case going on so they had to close the shop. They deeply apologised because they forgot to inform...

As we all know, “char kuey teow” basically means fried kuey teow, so I’ll just call it kuey teow basah (wet kuey teow) to avoid offending anyone. To me, Delapan Huruf is truly a master of kuey teow , their kuey teow basah is perfectly done. Some people don’t like it wet, so you can try their char kuey teow kering (dry version), which is also superb. Their noodles like mee goreng are delicious too. As a regular customer, I’ve tried every item on their menu, and I approve! You really get that authentic kuey teow basah utara vibe.
