This restaurant is located in the main building as you pass through the immigration/ border control to get to your gate.
If you need food, it might be better to eat before you get through to the gates. There's not much choice once you're here.
So drop in to this restaurant thinking that there's nothing else. We're greeted by a promising young man while we're looking at the menu. So we agreed to give this place a try.
The pictures on the menu were very enticing. We're craving for nasi lemak rendang daging. So we went ahead with that and thought we could also enjoy a cendol. The bill came up to RM59++
The nasi lemak came quite swiftly. We asked for a glass of water - the waiter has to get approval from the floor manager... Wow water is expensive these days, no water with a meal. But after much persuasion we were given a tiny glass of water - we had to beg.
We finished the nasi lemak and realised the cendol hasn't been served, by then we're already 30 mins after we made an order. We waved the manager to inquire about our dessert, he took our receipt, passed it on to any manager, who then went into the kitchen to check. Nothing happened after 15 mins. By now we're getting quite impatient as we're not at our gate yet - C34. We waved the manager again, he said he would check for us, and apologised profusely. We told him if we don't get our order within the next 5 mins we need to cancel cos we have to board. He went and came back with a sad looking bowl of ice cubes - with white liquid. I don't see any brown Gula Melaka, that makes the cendol. On the menu they promised a scoop of vanilla ice cream - it wasn't served! Taste: nothing like cendol, the coconut cream - tasted like nothing. It wasn't sweet, the green worm like cendol was skinny and tasted like nothing. The photo uploaded here was how it was served before we dig in with a spoon. How very disappointing!
Our eating experience was spoilt. It's unfortunate cos the place has a view.
If your Gate is C, there are plenty restaurants after the bus shuttle. Even better eat before getting through the...
Read moreFirstly, I would like to remind every customer who is about to visit this restaurant to be careful with the service attitude here. The experience of dining at this restaurant was the worst of my life: I encountered obvious discrimination and injustice. I am a Muslim girl from China who has been living, studying, and working in Malaysia for five years. I have always felt that this is my second hometown, where life is comfortable and the environment is tolerant. However, the experience at this restaurant deeply hurt me. When my companions and I entered the restaurant, we politely asked if we could sit by the window, but a female waiter refused and took us to a separate seat. After a moment, I saw two customers wearing hijab sitting directly by the window. When I mentioned wanting to switch to the window again, another female waiter responded with a sarcastic tone, "okay la," then turned around and left, giving me an unfriendly look. She neither helped us arrange nor provided any explanation. This matter makes me extremely uncomfortable. As a Muslim, I am well aware that our faith does not teach us to treat others with prejudice. On the contrary, the beauty of Islam lies in kindness, justice, and equality. As a waiter wearing a headscarf and representing the image of the restaurant, her behavior not only hurt me, but also damaged the image of the restaurant and the entire Muslim community. I didn't do anything wrong, I just wanted to have a quiet breakfast. As a result of this experience, my good mood was completely destroyed and it is still difficult to calm down until now. I hope the restaurant management can take this matter seriously and reflect on the training and behavior of employees. Any customer, regardless of where they come from or what they wear, should be respected and treated...
