Very nice buffet at a reasonable price, especially if there is a promotional discount. 😁
The salad ingredients were fresh and there were a variety of dressings. The lamb soup ("sup kambing") was tasty. The cream of potato soup here was a tad spicy hot for my taste. It was the first time I've had spicy cream of potato soup, and in my opinion, the spiciness overpowered the subtleness of the potato taste.
There were not a lot of people having dinner today, and all the bins with hot food were filled. The meats (beef, chicken, and lamb) were a bit on the tough and overdone side. The roasted beef was too well-done for me. I prefer my meat medium or medium rare. Perhaps if there were more people, the food turn-over would be at a faster rate, thereby being replenished with fresh meats.
The deserts were great. The little tarts and cakes were not too sweet. They were delicious. The self-serve shaved ice station ("ais kacang") was a nice touch and there were many different tasty toppings.
Staff were friendly and efficient in taking away dirty dishes from the table, and also with filling up...
Read moreWe were there for a dinner party for our group of 25. Environment is peaceful for event and to enjoy your meal.
Overall (3 stars)- maybe alright for friends and family outing but it is not on par with most good hotel restaurant out there.
Food (2 stars) - considering the price of RM 98 its ok. However considering that nearby there are hotels that offer way better buffet food at RM 30 more after discount, the food/price value is quite average. If you are looking for food taste and quality then forgo this cafe.
Price (4 stars) - RM 98 is cheap for dinner. Then again its far out there from KL city and you need to drive 25km at least to be there.
Service (3 stars) - It was acceptable, nothing outstanding. The team who serve our party of 25 did their best.
Cleanliness (3.5 stars) - the place is lit like most hotel and it cannot be certain of how clean it was, but i was acceptable.
Conclusion: I will not go unless there is no options for me. We went because it was a company's dinner so there we were. Otherwise, spend your...
Read moreCame here on Christmas night and place was packed, as expected. Decor wise was on point, with a live singer belting festive tunes constantly. There were a few clowns going from table to table blowing up ballon animals n even Santa n his companion came to give gifts. Thumbs up. We were in a separated area so compared to the main dining area, our place was cooler due to the dedicated a/c units. The buffet spread was festive as well with the appropriate deco abound. However, upon reflection, none of the many dishes that were savoured really stood out to me. Except maybe the pumpkin cheese cake. The hot coffee/tea machine seemed to have limited life as my wife was unable to get her hot coffee a few times, unfortunately. They too had messed up our request for b/day cake for our guests, but all were sorted out eventually. Overall, location n facilities wise, very presentable and positive improvements on food-wise would make this place a superb location for hosting important or...
