My family and I came here on a Thursday afternoon, hungry because we had just left TRX Exchange having eaten nothing because all the restaurants were full and the mall itself was not fully ready to operate ie. no aircond, no water.

Thank God that Al Sultan turned out to be such a wonderful surprise! It really cheered us up after a disappointing visit to the much-anticipated TRX Exchange.

First of all, the restaurant is very inviting and welcoming. You feel immediately at ease upon entering. It just feels cozy and clean. Parking is plentiful, by the way.

Service was prompt and appropriately friendly. We didn’t have to wait too long for the food to arrive.

Highly recommend the Cheese Sahwig served with crispy bread, as an appetizer. It has a spicy kick to it! As a Minangkabau who loves her cili padi, this is much appreciated!

We enjoyed all the food we ordered : my mom finished her plate of Chicken Mandy (she doesnt usually do that!, that says a lot), my dad enjoyed his lamb shank, my brother devoured his shish tawook and I ate everything on my plate of chicken kebab! My toddler son too enjoyed having bits and pieces of everything we ordered.

For drinks, please get their Mango Lassis (less sweet). We loved them so much, we ordered another one to go!
