Read moreWent here for brunch. The atmosphere is certainly nice and toilets are clean. Everything else is not so enjoyable for me.
Firstly, need to order via QR code. I know lots of places are like this now but to me feels very impersonal and impractical. We sat at the sofa area which is comfy but has a weird smell I suppose from all the food spilled on it.
We ordered the Euphoria drink, peppermint mocha frappe, tiramisu croffle, fish sandwich, and salmon carbonara. A lot can be said about the food.
Euphoria: Not bad, but really too much ice so it’s not worth the price Peppermint mocha frappe: Not enough peppermint, couldn’t taste any mocha, nor coffee. Drink was not really sweet but not really anything else either. I would give it a zero as it really didn’t taste like anything apart from ice Tiramisu croffle: Came with a scoop of ice cream with the texture of being thawed and re-frozen multiple times (ie ice cream was not smooth but crunchy and difficult to spread), and a shot of espresso which just tasted like instant coffee dissolved in water Fish sandwich: not bad. Made with normal gardenia bread. Lots of lettuce provided. 3 fish sticks included which are obviously frozen but I don’t mind that Salmon carbonara: very very cheesy and creamy which I love. Comes with a very stingy amount of salmon, and maybe 2 spoonfuls of spinach. A few shimeji mushrooms can also be found. It was delicious to me however the lack of salmon made me sad.
In conclusion, come here for the vibes and pics. For the food… anywhere else...
Read moreDo not let these pictures trick you into thinking this cafe is good. I went here on a Saturday, and the cafe was not packed, just the right crowd. I came here with high hopes after reading reviews on Google. However, I have a few comments about the food. Besides being generously portioned, there was nothing exceptional about it. Let's go through it step by step.
1)The Mok Mok Chicken: Disappointing, this was my least favorite. They used ordinary Gardenia bread, and the chicken tasted like the kind you find in the supermarket(Chicken popcorn type)The sandwich appeared large due to an overwhelming amount of cabbage. The sandwich wrapper had an off-putting smell. 2)Pesto: Very oily. It cost RM 17, and we added RM 8 for chicken. I regretted that decision because the chicken was incredibly dry and tasteless. 3)Salmon Spinach Carbonara: It was okay, nothing special. A bit too creamy for my liking, and I felt a bit queasy after eating it. 4)Berry Croffle: I've had other croffles before, but this one didn't impress me. They advertised it as their bestseller, but it was too dry, almost like a regular croissant. Adding RM 2 for ice cream didn't improve it; the ice cream tasted cheap, like a store-bought one.
Overall, the cafe felt more like a trendy spot with underwhelming food. The menu selection was limited, and the service was slow. The one positive aspect was that the cafe and its...
