Ayam Gepuk Ori Selayang Seksyen 7 — Restaurant in Shah Alam

I eat here pretty often, im quite love of the peanut and the sambal it was so delicious😋😋 and it get worse every time i visit😂, back then the chicken was way bigger and now smaller, and maybe gonna disappear soon?

Last time the sambal and peanuts were balanced, like 1:1. Now they pile up the sambal like a mountain, but give peanuts with a tiny spoon—half-filled! So it makes the "biasa level pedas" are spicier! And also i always ask for the sambal and peanut are separated, but now they said NO(must be mixed), refusing a simple request like that can be seen as poor service—unless they have a specific reason. Maybe it’s because I always finish the peanuts and leave a bit of sambal? If that’s the case, then this restaurant is really trying to cut costs in the weirdest way😂😂, Yeah, I guess you should cut costs—after all, fewer and fewer people are coming to eat at your place now, and they’re going to other ayam gepuk place instead🤣

For me i dont mind how rude the staffs are whether from manager, cashier, floor or kitchen, but when it comes to food, i take it seriously, the food is great, but sadly, the way this outlet is managed-stingy and lacking common sense-really brings it down.

This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced issues with the delivery system from this restaurant. Despite specifying my order details, such as the type of sambal and the part of the chicken I wanted, I received the wrong items. Additionally, I reported that the sambal was spoiled in person at the shop to the staff, but I neither received a refund nor an apology from the staff. I hope the restaurant can improve its customer service and food quality as advertised.

Despite some reviews complaining about certain staff members who seem grumpy or unfriendly, which I’ve noticed as well. I want to give a shout-out to one staff member (I believe he’s the guy who cleans the dining area) for his warm service and generous smile.

I often order from this place because of the sambal and fried chicken. It’s unfortunate if the quality isn’t consistently monitored. You have a great product, but please maintain the standards. I hope that the owner or manager stays more alert and makes the necessary...

Tried this place through delivery and I wasn’t ready. The sambal? A full-blown assault on my mouth. It’s dangerously spicy — Samyang feels like sweet ketchup compared to this. I literally had to tap out halfway 😇 If you love pain and chilies that punch you in the soul, this is YOUR moment. 🌶️🔥🤣

The chicken was okay — a bit dry on the outside but still juicy inside. What surprised me was Set D (RM19.90) — totally worth the price! You get all sorts of extras: stir-fried cabbage, tempeh, chicken gizzard and liver… like a whole mini kenduri in a box.

Would I eat this again? Probably yes, but I need to emotionally prepare myself first. Not for amateurs. Not for people with weak stomachs. But if you’re a spice warrior —...
