Secret Recipe Section 7, Shah Alam — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Went here on 29th Jan 2025 for the first time to redeem Shopee e-voucher. Prior to the redemption, I did call the outlet for confirmation on the redemption + stock availability.

Alhamdulillah, everything was made easy + these were my son's rizq: Managed to park near the outlet all thanks to a car that had just exited from parking. Otherwise, it would be extremely difficult as the area was occupied with so many shoplots. Managed to buy the last 3 pieces of sparkling candles for my son's birthday. Shopee e-voucher redemption was very smooth.

The shop was clean as I was among their earliest customers. All-in-all, the ratings were based on candle redemption. I believe similar to other Secret Recipe outlets, it served good food + had many varieties of cakes.

The downside was hard to find parking. Hence, less one star for its (outside) atmosphere. Plan your journey...

Staffs have poor communication and social skills. Ordered a slice of cake at 5.30pm which entitled for a complimentary cup of teas as per advertised in the menu. Unfortunately cashier did not offer any tea when he took the order. When asked about the complimentary tea, another staff said I was not entitled since it's already past 6pm.when I said it's not yet 6pm, she said the cashier did not punch for tea and it will be charged is she send one. Seriously?? When the cake arrived, the waiter just left it on the table and didn't even bother to send a fork until I have to request for it? This is my place to go at least once a week but the service is getting worst day by day. Please do something about it. Send your staffs for training. F&B is not...

Went there for takeway cake for my colleagues farewell. It was raining, they opened the door, not sure the purposes maybe to ease the rider to pickup the order but the floor is dripping wet & no wet floor signage to alert the customer. Standing at the counter nobody attend me until 5 minutes I initiated the conversation “Can i order?” Then only the female staff say “boleh, sekejap ya” then i have to wait somemore. The cake they selling also look unappealing & looks like someone cancelled the order and they resell it ? How can you display cake with that kind of condition.
