Thai Tomyam Classic Jln Plumbum — Restaurant in Shah Alam

To be honest, this place will go down as one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten,in my manuscript if I had one. The foods literally gave me an experience of tastes I've had in my 22 years of life. I ate at night so I was travelling through the entire milky way galaxy when I took my first sip of the tomyam. The rice was well cooked. Chicken was awesome and the fish was immaculate. We ordered a 3 rasa ikan siakap. The fish was crunchy,juicy,awesome,mythical,legendary and soulful. Where on earth do I begin with the drink ? I usually consider myself as a person who absolutely despises teh o because of the stale taste but this restaurant did wonders with their drinks. Now you might be wondering if I was paid by the restaurant to give this review but its fair to say nope. I criticise foods like old people criticise the current government but the food in this restaurant gave me a hope in the condition of this society and its food infrastructure. Thanks people. Order thru ws for iftar at 2pm++. Sampai kedai staff tunjuk meja ikut no. Meja dalam ws. Atas meja dah ada a few makanan yg lebih kurang sama but ada certain yg takada. Tunggu sampai nak berbuka tanya staff mana makanan lain and air. Staff check menu yg diaorang tulis and yang kami order tak sama. Katanya tu table orang lain. Masa sampai kami double confirm dengan staff lain betul ke tu table kami. Diaorang kata betul.

Then , check semula rupanya order kami thru ws tu langsung takada kat diaorang. Diaorang boleh kata lupa nak tulis order kami. Makanan atas meja kami duduk tu bukan kami punya. Diaorang kata sebab terdouble order meja sama. Makanan atas meja kami diaorang ambik semula pass to owner order tersebut. And diaorang ambik semula order kami. Waste a time! Waktu tu dah berbuka dengan air pun takada. Kami dok menunggu sampai kena keep remain order kami. Carelesss from the staff. Takada kata maaf langsung from the staff.

When the food sampai. All food was tasteless. Nak makan pun jadi takada mood. Because this restoran boleh dikatakan my family suka makan sini. But bila jadi macam ni service out. Kecewa gila! Masa nak bayar inform staff itu makanan semua kurang rasa . tkada masin apa semua. And she say 'ohh sebab puasa' hellooo?! Macam ni you respon to the customer. Haha . My sister sampai cakap kitaorang selalu makan sini okay je rasa . Staff tu senyap . Again no sorry from them.

For those yg nak order untuk iftar thru ws sila la double confirm banyak kali dengan staff supaya tak jadi macam kami. For the staff pls belajar to say sorry to customer kalau salah itu dari pihak...

Went here because my friend swore it was 🔥… spoiler: they owe me an apology. Ordered the Nasi Goreng Thai with sky-high hopes 🚀—ended up with a plate of blandness that tasted like ✨regret✨. Zero flavor, zero richness… just sad rice 🍚💔.

My disappointment? Immeasurable. My day? Ruined. Didn’t even bother snapping pics 📸🚫—why waste camera space on trauma?

1/10, would rather eat Meggi at home. Pro tip: Bring your own chili sauce… or...
