Chance upon this shop after my breakfast. So many varieties of dim sum. Giving an extra star for that. Cannot resist taking away the freshly baked coconut buns. Buns was very soft but coconut filings a bit too sweet for me and I prefer it with brown sugar instead of pamdan green essence taste. Great service and very friendly staffs. Will be back to try the dim sum.
2nd visit apr'25 Surprised to find the place empty on a wkday during lunch hr. Tried many variety or dim sum. Those main dim sum dishes are not up to par. Har gow (prawn dumlings) skin was thick, dry and split at the bottom as I picked up with the chopsticks. Chee cheong fun skin was way too thick. It should be soft and slightly translucent. Char siu bao was gummy. Lacked of ingredients. Bacon rolls were not tender with crispy on the outside. Fried sui kow was not crispy too. The rest were good. Porridge was tasty, not starchy and with the right saltiness. Two types of prawn rolls were crispy and nice. Love the yong to fu brinjal and bitter gourd. Fish balls were good. Stewed chicken feet, siu mai (pork dumpling) and yam puff were average. For the first time I didn't order egg tarts and lava buns for dim sum. The pastry of the tarts was charred and looks dry. Lava buns were too tiny and unappetising. Service was great. I bought char siu buns and they turned out good. Coconut buns were...
