Our hunt for food in this far away place led us to this unassuming chicken rice shop in the new village area of Sungai Buloh. 🐔
To our delight, this place serves Ipoh-style poached Chicken with rice or flat noodles and Ipoh nga choy (beansprouts).
Very rarely can you get beansprouts of this quality here in KL - it's stubbier, crunchier & thicker...it was quite satisfying to eat.
Chicken was poach-perfect, that even the breast meat of the chicken was moist.
The fish ball & pork ball are worthy mentions too - it had good texture which means there is a better ratio of meat to flour in there.
When you have all these with their rice, what a combination! Chicken broth infused rice that is fluffy & loose, just rounds up the dishes.
I'd give a perfect 5 star...

Great chicken rice alert!
So i m in no where and looking for food, most kopitiam have close at 5pm… there this chicken rice shop, just fill my tummy i guess…
Something about the service and the bangla guy… i can't hardly understand what he said… i just order normal chicken rice with chinese tea… end up i hv a chicken tight which is more expensive...
The food, it come with a portion of chicken, a sizeable soup, rice and chili sauce. Chicken is TENDER!!! Rice cook just nice! Soup is very FLAVOURFUL!!! Chili sauce is a miss, not spicy at all, and a hint of sweetness…
You can order fishball and meatball here, many other customer order full bowl of balls!
Price is cheap, if a normal chicken rice cost only 5.5

Ordered half a chicken, meatball soup and beansprout.
Half a white chicken - tender, juicy and succulent. The sauce is great 👍🏼 balanced and goes really well with the chicken. Don’t forget their ginger condiments.. it’s to die for! Goes well with ANYTHING.. white rice even.
Chicken liver - cooked to perfection.
Meatball soup - one can never go wrong with chicken rice soup. 👍🏼 yums!
Beansprout - tasty .. tasty 😋
Parking is hard to come by, be prepared to walk 150m without shades. Securing a table during lunch time can be taxing. Orders are taken by the lady boss (I think) serving time varies, but within bearable time. 15mins.
