“An Excellent Chinese Muslim Restaurant Experience”
Mohd Chan in Kota Kemuning is truly one of the best Chinese Muslim restaurants I’ve ever visited. The menu offers an impressive variety of authentic Chinese dishes prepared with halal ingredients, which makes it a perfect choice for Muslim families who want to enjoy Chinese cuisine without any worries.
The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their signature dishes like butter prawns, sizzling beef, and dim sum are absolutely delicious — rich in taste yet not overly oily. The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are consistent every time I visit.
The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, suitable for both casual dining and family gatherings. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to serve, which makes the whole dining experience even more pleasant. Cleanliness is also well-maintained, from the dining area to the washrooms, which adds to the comfort.
Overall, Mohd Chan Kota Kemuning combines excellent food, great service, and a cozy environment at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic halal Chinese food in Shah Alam. Definitely a place I’ll keep...
Read moreWe always loves to spend on food. Big time! So, as for the choice of food and delicacies is more on the mid to high selection. We have tried black pepper beef, spicy chicken with fried dried chilli, baby crab with sauce (not sure what is the name), and sweet and sour fish. Not to be forgotten are the dimsums. Sadly to say, all is on average. Not saying that it is bad, but was expecting more. For a pax of 3, we have paid rm280++. Hear my experience. The black pepper beef is nice, but the beef are abit chewy. The chicken is exhiliratingly hot,but could be better if the chillies are not burned and left a bitter aftertaste. The baby crab is so and so due to many reason. Sauce is too thin, it is making the mantou soggy. Not to mention, the baby crab is actually a deep fried flour with shrinked actual crab. We believe that the crab is not fresh. The fish is the hero of the day. Taste is spot on and the fish is delish and crispy. It is the most basic delicacy, so, a perfect cookery is expected. Sorry but am sorry not to come again. Mohd chan shah alam seks15 and rimbayu fall to the...
Read moreFirst time patronise this joint. Being corner lot premise, ample parking space, access for disabled (wheel chair patrons) n Surau for Muslims to perform prayers available on 1st floor. However men n women hv to share the small limited space. Spare 'Kain Sarong' for men and 'Kain Telekong' for women avaible for those who need them. Clean Toilets, separate for Men n Women plus clean abolution (wuduk) facility provided. Sandals n wooden clogs also provided to use the 'Toilets' n 'Abolution' area..to maintain "Cleanliness". A plus factor as compared to some provided @Petrol Service Stations and even some Muslims Joints that hv "Prayer Room" facility (from my experience so far). However, access to the 'Prayer Room' you hv to use the staircase and pass through the VIP Room (with lavish decor, expensive looking dining tables n carpetted floor). From the different menu my family ordered and tasted I can vouch that its of 'Hotel Standard' with friendly table service and not expensive prices. Outdoor (but covered) also available. A new experience...
