I had a disappointing experience at nandos aeon shah alam. It seemed like the staff hadn’t been trained well in customer service. When i paid at the counter, the staff was like not very good at talking to customer. When i was paying the staff were talking to each other instead on focusing on the customer first. Other than that, they were too chill and one of them pretended to be busy. Most of the staff were behind the counter instead of being infront and looking at customer if they needed help or assists in anything. At that time, the restaurant wasn’t even busy.
After that, We didnt know that we had to take plates for ourselves, They should put a sign its a self service. I only know that we only take the sauce or cultery only on out own but never knew we also have to take plates on our own. How should we know? the staff just gave us the food than left just like that without asking if we needed plates. We were five people sitting there. We didnt order per person at all, it was a whole chicken with other serving too. Plus the plates werent properly clean also.
This experience made it clear that the service could use improvement. Other nandos outlet are very good with their customer service. It made me not want to eat there anymore. Hopefully they...
Read more2018 Waited 20 mins and then i went to the cashier to order my food, its understandable for the food to take 20-30 min to be serve, but it take 20 min of sitting and waiting for the waitress and still waitress aren't bothered to take your order ? I already called them, twice, heck i already know what i wanted to order when she gave me the menu, but she just left right away, and i am a regular customer(attach with pic of collected chilli), at this point they should know by now that i wanted to order right away. Nandos have great food, but i recommend to eat at different nando restaurant as at Aeon mall shah alam service is a bit slow if not terrible. Once i can look the other way since it was during Ramadan and its completely full, but this is the second time they did it. UPDATE 2019 the service is a bit better now, for now only the senior cashier will ask if i like to order immediately, but the newer staff/waiter still doesnt ask, but they do get back to you quickly, well technically it was another waiter but service is service and they have improve abit, i will add another star by the end of this year if their isnt any technical difficulties or anyone else with...
Read moreCame here 3rd May 2023 for dinner. My husband & I arrived at 9pm. We ordered our food using online menu and paid at the cashier counter upon ordering. Both of us ordered thigh. The food arrived at 9.15pm. Mine was served a breast. I told the manager that I ordered a thigh. He said did I order thigh? I said yes I did. He took my plate and said sorry they’ll send a new one. We waited till 9.55pm. My husband called the server and ask about my food. He ran to the kitchen and check. Then came back and told us that they ran out of thigh and said sorry. I wait 55 minutes for nothing. If only they checked upon ordering and tell us upfront that thigh is not available, I won’t upset but this.. what they did, is just rude. The manager scolded the server fr not sending the food and the server said how are they suooosed to know for which table since he was the one who took my plate. I’d say this was done on purpose as there’s many opportunities that they can use to inform me that the food I ordered and paid in advance is not available.
