Smashed — Restaurant in Shah Alam

I first heard of Smashed burger when they opened in 2020 during the pandemic. I never get a chance to visit as it's quite the distance from my area.

3 years later, I have to say this is the best Smashed burger I've tasted here (as there's only a total of 2 smashed burger stores I have found in Malaysia)

The beef is excellent, caramelized onion is very good and sweet. Buns are amazing. Their burger sauce is okay for me, hopefully they may do some tweaking in the sauce. Still the burger is very delicious.

I've read some people think it's expensive and even compare it to Mcd. But I feel the price is just right in its own way and it's completely different from Mcd. If you wanna eat beef/chicken burgers with slightly better value but not smashed, I suggest Burgerlab, spades (not halal) for similar pricing but have set meals.

I have no issues with the burger but maybe it's too greasy and sloppy? Not much of a problem for me as I like sloppy but afraid some people may not like the sloppiness. Also, after eating awhile you start to feel really thirsty cause of it.

Lastly I do wish they close late. As I'm someone who wants to get supper and not eat this as dinner, I prefer to have late night burger but they close at 10pm which is too early for me.

Alternatively, there's a another smashed burger store to try at TTDI, KL called Local Area Burger. It's still very good but not as great as this. But they close at 11pm which is just nice for late...

03 times went to the stall on 03 different days, 1st time at 8:30pm, 2nd time at 6pm, 3rd time at 5:30 pm. All 3 times were told the burger was sold out! My advice u better sell at home not at a stall if everytime customers walk-in, u will turn down the walk-in customers due to overwhelming pre-orders. Very poor service regardless if u are just 02 months or 20 yrs in this business what so ever, please learn the important of planning ahead in business. Yes now maybe ur product is viral as we speak but sooner or later if you fail to overcome this "irrelevant sold out issue" , u will not gona just lose ur loyal customers but also potential customers. Stop using the old lame SOLD OUT MARKETING STRATEGY. It may work the 1st time, the 2nd time or 3rd time but not all the time...

One of my all time favorite burger stalls (around this neighborhood at least). Had the privilege to chat with the founders Naeem and Intan whenever they're there at the stall while my burger is being prepared. Both of them are very nice, communicates well and really genuine people. Most importantly, the team delivers amazing burgers! I generally go for their smashed or super smashed beef burger. Based on the quality of ingredients used, in my opinion the price is reasonable. I occasionally pop by to support their business, introduced to friends and family too. Hopefully they'll maintain their quality, taste, portion, service and price for...
