If you're looking for a cozy spot with good food and laid-back vibes in Bukit Jelutong, Sou55 is definitely worth a visit. The ambience is warm and welcoming — a mix of modern rustic design with chill music that makes it a great place to catch up with friends or even get some work done.

The menu offers a nice balance of local fusion and Western-style dishes. Their signature chicken chop is juicy and flavorful, and the pastas are well-prepared without being overly creamy. I also tried their iced matcha latte — smooth and not too sweet, just the way I like it.

Service was friendly and attentive. The staff seemed genuinely keen to make sure everyone was comfortable, which added to the overall positive experience.

Parking might be a little limited during peak hours, but otherwise, it's a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Would definitely come again to try more...

the taste just ordinary. i almost can't find any chicken in the green curry🤣. tom yam a bit sweet. service quite slow we almost finish our meal then we received the kang kung, tom yam and fried squid. maybe because of iftar but we ordered at 6:35pm. so mostly we eat the green curry with the fish. the desert serve very late after finish eating and need to wait another 30minit then we get it but need to asked. instead serving together as we mention when ordered it together with the meal. from all we order i can say only the deep fried fish, the fried squid and kangkung is good, other than that just ordinary taste. total billed was rm240 something for us 3 adult and 1 kids. consider pricy since im very difficult to find the chicken in the curry and the tomyam only have 1 ring of squid +3 prawn, most of it are cut fishballs...

If you’re craving authentic Thai flavors in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, Soi 55 Thai Kitchen is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of lemongrass, chili, and coconut sets the tone for a flavorful experience.

The menu offers a strong variety of classic Thai dishes—from rich, creamy green curry to spicy basil stir-fry (Pad Kra Pao) and perfectly balanced Pad Thai. The Tom Yum soup is a standout, delivering a perfect harmony of sour, spicy, and savory notes.

Portions are generous, and the spice levels can be adjusted to your taste. The staff is friendly and happy to recommend dishes based on your preferences. Vegetarian and vegan options are also well-represented.

Overall, Soi 55 Thai Kitchen delivers an excellent mix of bold flavors, warm service, and good value. It’s a go-to spot for Thai...

Had dinner here last night. I would not say that it's cosy cos I smell like the Thai dishes after dining here. There should be a better ventilation for the price that the customers are paying. The air conditioner is not switched on and eating Thai food under the fans is no joke. The steamed talapia (I changed it to siakap) was not tasty enough. The stir fried kamgkung was normal. Basil chicken was way too spicy. The fried Cuttlefish is one of the worst that I had ever tasted. Overall the food could not be considered good but it is edible. Nothing to shout out as 🇹🇭 food... BTW if u want a free bowl of red Ruby... U need to like their fb page.. Write some comments.. Rate it.. Ahem.. The waiter will monitor u.. Tada.. U will get ur dessert for free.. One like from fb one bowl 🤔
