Baqara Fine Meat — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Had an unpleasant and unforgettable experience of dinner service here. Visited them for dinner with my kids. There were only 2 tables of 2 people when we arrived. Only 1 waiter was on duty when we came. Ordered ribeye steak, cheese burger and mushroom soup. While waiting for our order, a cockroach appeared on top of my head. The waiter did help to get rid of the cockroach. However, I'm seriously concern of the food safety and hygiene in your restaurant.

Despite being not busy at all, our foods did not come at the same time. Rib eye came first (steak juicy but inadequately seasoned, sad portion of mash potato and hard uncooked veggies). We waited more than 15 minutes for the the burger to finally arrive. My son like it no complaint.Once my kids has finish, my soup still hasn't arrive. Check with another waiter when is my soup be ready, she checked her monitor and condescendingly answer it wasn't in the system. She didn't even bother to check with the kitchen or the first waiter that took the order. I lose my appetite already. After awhile the first waiter came and apologise but seriously there are not that many customers that night. How can you mess up a simple order like that? The stars is for the foods as my kids did enjoy the steak and burger but the whole customer service experience there was rubbish. We paid RM 126 for the whole dinner foods but left feeling disappointed. Will not...

Came with family last weekend. This place just changed concept into something like Menate... much much better than what they had before. You can choose your meat .. placed in front as you come in. Ambience is very cosy and stylish. Its more quiet here but really not far from masjid Bukit Jelutong.. and less crowded than the front eating places near Zubair.

I ordered lamb.. just loved it. Tender and juicy and vary tasty .. almost finished it because it was so good just on its own before I tried the sauce which was awfully good, could taste the pepper. AND not salty... sign of good cooking, so you could really taste the flavour.

Everyone enjoyed their orders .. my son had beef steak which I tried also.. nice and juicy but I like my lamb better, mushroom soup was ok, and my cucus enjoyed their pasta .. i think it was carbonara. And very important it was NOT salty!

I usually enjoy my steak with a good salad.. I dont remember seeing this in the menu.. if true that they dont, I hope the owner could add good salad dishes. Please contribute to making Malaysians healthier!!

Sad to say I'm not coming here again. For a steakhouse, I expected more. Meats were a little under seasoned but that's fine since there's sauce to go with, however we ordered it to mediums and it was not cooked well at all. There were chunks of medium rare parts and also a small bit of rare. Was too hungry and we just wanted to leave asap so didn't cause a scene or send it back to the kitchen. Since nobody asked how was our experience we didn't bother addressing the issues. Thank goodness we only ordered grain fed as it was our 1st time there but even with that our bill came up to more than rm100 so definitely wasn't worth it for us personally. Sides were just alright - mash, broccoli and carrots. Restaurant looks clean but we saw a cockroach under 1 of the tables which ran out after prompting the staff to deal with it. Parking no problem.
