The food was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. However, I booked for my little sister’s birthday celebration for 12pm. I booked through WhatsApp requesting clearly for the Birthday Package. On the day of, we walked in to the restaurant at 12pm and the foreign lady waitress asked if we made a reservation and we said Yes. Didn’t ask for our name and showed us to the table with a ‘Happy Birthday’ deco hung up behind our seats. We thought it was clear to them that they knew who we were but it seems like from this experience they seat anyone at the decorated table. Given the menu, the foreign waitress didn’t explain how to order. When she took our order she had an attitude. After our meal we saw the table next to us that they had sashes etc.. for their birthday celebration. It dawned upon us that should have been us. I asked for the waitress and she told us to wait. Then only they asked what the name under the reservation was. She told us to wait and we waited for around 10 minutes for them to bring out what we thought was the package I requested. We had to call on the team to ask what’s taking so long and in the end we were told we’d only get the cake and being charged for it only. Had lunch here with my family. The food was great—I had “The Royal,” and the prawns were the standout. The sausage was an unusual but enjoyable addition, and the sauce complemented the dish well.

We arrived around 12 pm, coinciding with an ongoing celebration. The servers seemed busy, which is understandable, but it affected our experience. There were moments of confusion as the staff mixed up our requests with the external event.

Unfortunately, some key service aspects were overlooked. We didn’t receive the usual cutlery for seafood, and one of our drinks had a small bug in it. When we raised the issue, the server who replaced the drink did so without a smile or apology, seeming annoyed.

It took us probably about 30–40 minutes to finish eating. However, before I even had a chance to relax, as soon as I finished my last crab, a server arrived and wanted to clear our table. This made me feel rushed and unwelcome, as if we were being hurried out.
