Worthy china food economy rice style that comes in individual bowl servings - super new concept in Malaysia(maybe I'm slowpoke)🥲. Went at around 5pm, but was too early as they recommended to come around 6pm due to most of the food not prepared and served yet. Even so, there are already customers dining in as early as 5pm for dinner albeit the limited choices, as we decided to come back later at around 530pm cos too lapar already - luckily most of the food are already served out. Ordered the signature china stir fry cabbage, mala chicken, potato slices and egg/tomato dishes. All were good but still the best is the cabbage. Drinks are also good and super reasonably priced at rm2 each, we ordered the ginseng chrysanthemum. Rice rm2 also per bowl. Prices are very reasonable that ranges from as low as rm2 to rm8 per bowl dependent on the variety of dishes, very similar to the pricing tiers on those sushi plates you typically see at sushi mentai, jiro, etc.. Overall verdict 4* for the fast service, bear in mind this is all self-service throughout(if you lazy, idk what 7 say you) - from you taking the tray and sliding it on the tray counter picking up the bowls by yourself and finally moving along towards the cashier counter and finally order drinks from there as well and also self-collect, including straw, tissue and cutleries. Definitely is a must come back lah! Confirm open one near you soon! 😎

When I’m queuing up for payment. I observed a black shirt staff using his right hand that wearing thin transparent glove and sink into the big rice cooker, then he stir few times. After the hand took out from the cooker, it is wet, he then using the same hand to grab some rice bowl from the steamer, touching here touching there. The white Color rice water sticks on the stuff he touched. Then he went behind the kitchen a while and come out, pouring water into the rice cooker, using the same right hand stir the rice…… The left hand not wearing glove and never touch anything. Only the right hand working. It's really disgusting. I was wondering how they train the staffs with the hygiene knowledge. What’s the purpose of Gloves wearing. Is protect yourself from no need to wash hand? Or awareness the hygiene on foods? The front liner even dare to do such thing, can u imagine how dirty the back kitchen. Bai Wei Mini Bowl, u should track the CCTV according the receipt timing. Timeline few minutes before the payment. My feedback is not worth of price to having meal here. Food expensive, QC not good sometime very salty, hygiene issue.

Passed by this restaurant countless times but couldn’t find parking. Today I got lucky, maybe I was early. So in we went. Noodles are only available till 11am. I got lucky. Don’t let the pics fool you. I thought it’s RM15 for 3 choice of dishes, rice and a free drink. But instead you get only 2 dishes. And they have to be the exact dishes as per pic. You can mix and match but prices would be different, depending on what you choose. Noodles - tasted good but very salty. Tomato egg - quite tasteless. Beef with leeks - tasty and tender Sichuan chicken - mostly chilies not much chicken Sichuan fish soup - not spicy and mala enough All the dishes were cold… even the rice. Rice offered is premium though. No black lines. Soup is self service, tasty and very hot. I like. A hyped up mixed rice shop from China. Good concept. 24hrs is an added bonus. Restaurant workers are mostly Burmese. Restaurant is clean and AC is wonderful. Food is acceptable but portion is small. Parking is a nightmare.

Came here on 19 June after seeing somebody reviewing it on 小红书。Nice concept and a chance to try China's style of cooking.

The low rating due to the few below reasons:

Food taste is normal and a bit overrated. Most of it is a little bit too salty and oily. The tomato egg presentation is pathetic and not tempting. However, it is worth the try. Portion is good except for the pricing for prawns which only have 2 and the rest are veggies.

However, the main reason for the low rating is the service. The cashier's attitude is not friendly. She gave us the annoyed look when we told her that the rice bowl was a bit hot for us to take on our own (it is all self service). Maybe she was thinking that we were lazy but we did try on our own but were unable to do it. Instead of judging next time, please put your hand and touch on your own to understand the customer's experience. She was not even interested to tell us what drinks they serve and just pointed at some handwritten notes when we asked what drinks were available. Definitely not a wise way of acting after showing your annoyed look to the customer.

Went to the toilet and the cleanliness of the sink and toilet is just filthy and disgusting. Used tissues lay scattered on the sink and the toilet is wet and dirty. Shows that they do not keep cleanliness and hygiene in mind, how can I expect the kitchen to be clean otherwise?

Overall, good to experience once but the food, and especially the bad service is not worth a second visit. Sorry to say but I will never go back again and neither will recommend this restaurant to my friends. There are many better restaurants that serve authentic China style dishes with...
