Bound Coffee — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

First time here for breakfast has been eyeing this cafe for quite some time. Managed to walk in today early this morning and I ordered their breakfast set Set D with hot drinks. I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant however unfortunately while having my last few bites, I saw a strand of hair on my salads. It was such a frustrating moment for me as I only saw it after having almost most of the food.

Highlighted to the staff and the staff offered my food to be replaced again. Since I am upset, I declined the offer politely and was told to just pay for my drinks. So I did and walked away, no fuss, no mess made.

To the owner of this cafe, as a small business supporter I'm not uploading the pic of the food with the hair as I understand how hard it's to build a cafe from scratch and I don't want to jeopardize the cafe's image but please take note to ensure hygiene in your back end kitchen at all times. While visiting Puchong for CNY my partner and I stopped by Bound Coffee for a quick drink on the way to Batu Caves. We both got lattes (vanilla and salted carmel) that were delightful! We also ordered some pastries but we didn't have enough cash and didn't have any payment apps that work in Malaysia. The staff members were so nice trying to accommodate us with other ways of payment, but we ultimately needed to take off the pastries. I just want to say a big thank you to Bound staff for handling that situation so graciously. We felt really bad for not having enough cash on us for what we initially ordered. We sit at bar counter as at that time table is full. Cozy atmosphere. We order hot chocolate and flat white, the coffee bean is more towards chocolate taste and not bitter at all. The mushroom soup was taste good. The half boiled egg is cold and the soy for the egg is not suitable as they use Japanese soy sauce which cannot very good to eliminate the egg smell. The sandwich and the shroomgasm taste delicious. Just that if they can provide the salt and pepper for the egg will be great. Overall is worth to come👍🏻.
