Came here to try after hearing about the hype, once you enter you have to order at the counter 1st before you seat yourself.
My friend and I ordered spaghetti meatballs(chicken meatball marinara) and garlic pulled chicken. Hot Matcha Latte and Cold Chocolate.
Safe to say we are gravely disappointed.
My pasta portion is small and sauce looks so watery like it came from a can and my pasta is definitely store bought. I can only give credit for their meatballs which looks and taste Handmade and delicious.
My friend had a chicken sandwich, the bread is so hard that it cut our mouths and gave us snatch Jaws from all the chewing we need to do to digest the bread (it looks like whole meal bread, I would only understand if it's sourdough but it isn't). It smelled sour, probably from the cheese which is not fully melted as we taste the chunks of it, when I put it in my mouth it taste like vomit to me before I continue chewing and taste the garlic, chicken and the sweetness of onions, don't think it's the best combination to out onion and cheese together.
Matcha latte: the matcha looks dull green and as I sip it it feel gritty, after stirring it for awhile it looks more milky white then green, milk is creamy.
Chocolate: honestly nothing special, my friend said the chocolate HL milk taste better.
Overall, with a place with plug points, it's a good place to talk and do your work, but eating probably not so much, it feels very...
Read moreFrom the outside, you wouldn't expect much just from looking in. The "magic" occurs when you push open the wooden framed glassed swing door which opens up into this seemingly huge airy interior that belies the appearance from the outside. Seating within is relaxed and informal and when I came in just around the lunch hour on a blazing Saturday afternoon, most of the tables within were taken up by small groups and young families with toddlers in tow.
I only had the espresso based coffee here and my younger one had a hot chocolate. Both were very well made and taste good to boot. The espresso shot(s) used in the latte were mildly fruity with a hint of bittersweet chocolate. Many of the visitors no doubt would come in to Insta the foam art rendered on your order. I'm just here for a post luncheon coffee. All in all a really nice place to kick back for a shot breather before heading back on a warm sunny weekend....
Read moreDiscovered Coffee Space USJ recently and I’m so glad I did! I tried their Americano and Sea Salt Latte — both were absolutely delicious. The coffee is rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality.
The shop has a cozy and relaxed vibe, perfect for a quick coffee break or chill catch-up. Just a heads-up: there are limited seats, so it might get a little packed during lunch hours. Parking is also a bit of a gamble — but if you don’t mind a short walk, you can park at the Caltex across the road.
Prices are reasonable, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I had some trouble paying with QR, and I was so relieved they accept cash...
