Sushi Zanmai Main Place — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I've been a regular to main place for a long time and dined in at sushi zanmai even since pasta zanmai was operating. Recently Ive noticed their food quality is not as good anymore, taste is just ok for such a high price. But more importantly, the worst part of the experience is they are horrible at keeping their food hygiene standards.

On 3 seperate occasions, I've been served long stands of hair cooked into my egg in my Nabeyaki noodle, expired and sour cream cheese in their lobster roll and now a sourish tasting onsen egg along with my seafood noodle. When I was served the seafood noodle, the staff had the tip of his thumb dipped into my soup as well. All of it was extremely unappetizing. A note to the management: I suggest you should send the entire staff for another food handler training. This is not the kind of quality you want to be recognized by with the kind of high end retail concept you're trying to deliver. I've been coming to this brunch in Mainplace for more than a year now, and I'm quite surprised this branch was able to last this long despite the harsh reviews.

The overall food is decent despite RM20 - 40 price range, but the Sushi can get rlly cold at a certain amount of time The staff here seemed neutral and doing their part. They don't really show much expressions which I find it a slight issue.

The only issue that I think the branch should look into is the timing it takes for the food to be completed, I've waited a approximately 50 minutes for my rice and it's starting to get very irritating. Despite the restaurant not being at peak hours

They are always very attentive. Good service. Their culture is to send wrong order to your table which is quite often but I'm alrsady get use to it and take it as normal and will feel awkward if that doesn't happen. Most probably because they dont have a clear table number showing. It has been improved after they engaged the robot service. Nice chawanmushi. Price is reasonable as this is cater for middle and low income group restaurant.
