Copper Pot Cafe — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Nice! I came back after a year visiting this place, been meaning to but time seems to fly so fast these days. I'm happy that I have finally tried eating at this place after receiving a respond from the owner or management. I have been dying to stopby.

This time around, I came really late though at around 915pm when it was about to close at 10pm. I only managed to try their most best recommended western food; mac and cheese. I would rate it as incredibly delicious especially the duck on top of the beef. Despite only the protein being different, I find both taste differently even when it comes to the sauce. Delicious but not over the top. Bolognese is so-so here.

The dessert is good but I would prefer a wider selection with fresher taste.

The service is very fast so I would recommend if you're rushing to put food in your tummy. I commented last year that the waiters were too loud especially when they were laughing behind the counter nonstop which I lacked professionalism but I liked this girl who is helpful and would help with a lot of things like taking pics and etc. This time around, they are well-mannered and patient despite me being there before their shift is about to end. Didn't get to order much though as kitchen was almost close.

Perhaps, I will try the local food...

The atmosphere is good, and the coffee is superb, but the manager will monitor you through CCTV and ask you to leave after 2 hours if you do not have add-on orders. The reason given is the need to pay for the electricity, I have never encountered such rule before. It’s understandable if the cafe is full house and customers should take turn to be seated, so in this case it’s fair to ask the customer to leave after 2 hours but for my case the cafe isn’t full house and I have ordered a cup of coffee. Although a coffee can’t support much for the electricity bill but it’s still the customer’s little support to the cafe. I have been here a couple of times and love everything here, until the manager ruined the vibes, which made me hesitate whether to visit again or recommend this cafe to others. I had a mini birthday celebration Let me split it into pros and cons Pros The cafe ambience is lovely, very calm, comfy seats and minimalist ID. Its kid friendly as well. Nice calm music too, not too noisy. Food taste great. The barbeque sauce is quite nostalgic. I had grilled chic with bbq sauce, fish and chips, hazelnut latte and kek batik. Service is quite good, friendly staffs. They even sanitize the baby chair for you. Not all place does that. You can park infront of below the cafe. Quite convenient.
