Hao Hao Lao Steamboat BBQ — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Frankly speaking Rm36 each is definitely the cheapest around. With this quality of food I believe ,they had tried their best. If you are coming/traveling from far for this, look away. This is definitely not something for you especially those who had tried food around.

Seafood were long frozen, veggies were old and tore,the ladies fingers looks like dried chili. I believe the fresh meat is all what I will go for. Ignore those that's season with other sauce . Most of the food were lower average quality especially the Mala soup base. Definitely not wort trying, additional top up of Rm12 for only "pepper oil, mala seeds and dry red chili" definitely a No from me . (Comparing with same price at others places, better quality has been served elsewhere. This is definitely a Never from me. This is definitely not Mala , nothing near . Something that the owner should consider remove from their menu/ as their highlight) Soup base were extremely salty and bitter, unsure why.

They tried their best on serving the best food but refilling was not on pace and sadly to say, hygiene indeed a problem here as the bowl and spoon from the counter were filty , oily and believe being dryed by a stinky cloth.

If you are short, you need someone to assist you. cafe sofa seat were too low, and food rack were somewhat high. If you are below 150cm , definitely a struggle for you.

Overall experience, Service were good, waiters were well trained sadly,Not that pleasant with the quality of food that's served.But by looking at this price, I have nothing much to say,they tried. It definitely a one time go for me .

Decided to give this place a try despite its reviews and it was the worst steamboat I've ever had and I'm genuinely surprised by how bad it was... Overpriced and left much to be desired.

Spent Rm 111 in total for 2 person (~RM55 per person): Topped up Rm12 for tomato-based soup but it only tasted salty with no hint of tomato in it. If i were blindfolded and asked to guess the flavor of the soup I wouldn't have guessed it right Quality of processed food (ham, sausage, nuggets etc) was horrible with odd taste and texture, even worse than those from steamboat places much cheaper than this at about rm33 per person. I don't know what kind of sauce that they used to marinate the bbq meat slices but they resemble cough syrup. Totally off-putting. Seafood was not fresh with a strong fishy taste Service lacking

Quality of food not up to par to the price we paid. Couldn't wait to finish up the food we took while eating as every bite was a torture. Please avoid this place if you're looking for a satisfying dining experience or even a mediocre...

Went with my family at 8pm for dinner, waited outside for sometime just so the staff can attend to us once there’s available place for us to dine. The staff then came out and asked us if we could come another day cause its full, what a rude approach. I’d have appreciated if she had asked us if it was okay to for us to wait, well that would have been more appropriate. We waited at the first place outside despite knowing its full house cause we wanted to have dinner there and we didn’t mind waiting cause we were on the next list to go in. So you don’t get to ask us to come another time, cause you weren’t closing anytime soon. So I left. And mind you there were people behind us in the queue, and you didn’t ask them...
