Logenhaus Roast & Grill — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

First, we ordered medium rare ribeye steaks with peppercorn sauce. While the steaks themselves were passable, the sauce was absolutely horrendous. We had requested mustard sauce and sea salt, but to our shock, a steakhouse couldn’t provide either kosher or sea salt, only iodine table salt. The steaks were accompanied by sour potatoes with a stale sauce. When we complained, the staff took them back and replaced them with fries without so much as an apology.

The grilled rainbow trout fish we ordered was equally appalling. It was bland and tasteless, more like a steamed piece of fish with zero seasoning. The mayonnaise sauce was sickeningly sweet and tasted like a cheap, off-the-shelf brand.

Overall: Staff: Completely incapable of proper communication. Ambiance: Infested with mosquitoes. Food Taste: The most tasteless and unappetizing food I’ve ever encountered. Presentation: Mediocre at best.

I cannot fathom how a grill house could serve such atrocious food. We will never return to this establishment, and I strongly advise others...

I went to this restaurant on 13th January 2024 with my family and was extremely disappointed with the food and service. Firstly, we arrived at the restaurant for an early dinner, however by then, there were already many items on the menu that weren't available. We proceeded to place our food orders which the waiter kept mixing up and getting it wrong. One of the items that we ordered was the portobello au gratin, we checked with the waiter numerous times if it was vegetarian which he assured us it was, however it came with a salami on top. The mushroom soup tasted like those instant, out of the can ones. The sizzling lamb did not arrive sizzling and it was rather very dry and hard like a biscuit. The potatoes in several of the dishes were undercooked and bland. We ordered the fresh oysters but had to return it upon tasting it as it had an overwhelming stench and did not taste fresh at all. nice cozy deco, feels comfy. the food however... is nowhere near pleasing. medium rare steak was more like well dine, broccoli was not well grilled, sausage is the cheap type, mushroom soup is the worst i ever tasted in my life, garlic bread is sad and has no garlic taste whatsoever, etc... out of politeness, i shall stop here. this is possibly the worst steak restaurant i have ever tasted. will never be back and never bring any friends here. price is reasonable. i think they tried to go for mass market segment and went for cheaper ingredients and lower quality chefs, which resulted in a lot of wasted beef which are not properly prepared. i rarely post such bad reviews, after more than 300+ reviews posted, i dont feel guilty giving this place a bad review. horrible standards. 1 star for food, but atmosphere is 5 star, service is good, serving is fast, so 4 star...
