Good evening peeps! This is Solarance again and today I made a pit stop to this wonderful tiny Korean jewel I found in taipan and I had a really nice time there for my first time ^^ and that’s a good thing for people experiencing new places!
So, let’s talk about the food now~
1- so me and my mom ordered 2 versions of their signature boneless chicken bento (spicy and soy). Both of the bento’s are well done 👍🏻 the chicken is super crispy and flavourful! Served with fluffy eggs, bottomless kimchi, a side of potato salad, crunchy anchovies and tofu 👍🏻 we both rated this 5/5 on value, taste and presentation
2- my sister ate earlier so she only ordered the tofu soup. I had a taste for it myself and it’s very flavourful 😊 4/5 from my sister
3- we all ordered the the egg rolls called “Mom’s Gye-Ran Mari” and it’s great for 2 things.. presentation and texture.. the dish needs a bit of improvement on flavour.. once that works out.. the dish is perfect 👍🏻 for now I’d rate it 4/5
4- atmosphere is super quaint and comfortable 👍🏻 I enjoyed my time eating there 😊 but maybe improve ok the backside of the restaurant to look a bit more presentable in the future 👍🏻
5- service is up to standard and the servers are super friendly 👍🏻
Overall really a nice place to spend time with friends and family at though do come early cuz the place closes at 9pm 🥹 I’ll definitely come again in the...

Came back after two years 😅 They’ve now moved to level 1 and only few doors away from Big Pharmacy.
Space is smaller but cozier set up. Went for dinner, arrived around 8pm+ and it was full house. Took about 10 mins for us to be seated which was not bad.
Ordered the Chicken Katsu Deobap (RM12.90), Hot Chick in Rice (RM12.90) and Kimchi Jeon (RM12.90).
All three were tasty but we like the hot chick on rice best. Well seasoned chicken and generous portion. The omelette in the katsu dish was bland and the dish itself felt rather dry as not much gravy. Kimchi pancake was yummy for me but sis felt it was a tad too sour. I really loved the dipping sauce / paste that came with the pancake, not the usual vinegar dipping but a spicy/tangy paste…so good! 😋

Reasonable korean food. Ordered the premium dosirak and chose Dak Gan Jeong (Korean fried chicken) and it came with 7 sides (including soup) for only RM15.90. Super generous on the meat! The other order was the dakgalbi (spicy stir fried chicken) with rice which was RM11.90 - also generous meat portion tho it doesn’t look like it in the...
Read moreMy niece is both a vegetarian as well as a K-Pop bobble head. It was difficult to find vegetarian option for Korean food. I chanced upon Muko cafe via google search and they didn't disappoint at all.
I had a Bimmibab while my niece had Japchae. We also ordered Gye-ran Mari. All the dishes were very delicious. I am not a fan of seaweed, so I asked it to be removed. Nevertheless it was the 1st and best Bimmibap I've ever had. My niece enjoyed her Japchae as well, which she quipped as an authentic experience in her Instagram.
We complemented the food with Dalgona Coffee and Dalgona milk tea. My 1st experience with Dalgona based drink was also very memorable.
We ended the meal with Hotteok, which had a familiar Malaysian desert, that I just can pin my fingers on.
Overall it was a great experience and I'd love to have the same meal again in the future from Muko. Probably I'll see if they can make vegetarian version of other dishes like Kimchi Fried Rice.
P/S: The dishes we ordered are vegetarian (ovo-lacto) friendly so please validate yourself as to how comfortable you are. As for me, I'm a happy bloke with...
