love the atmosphere, decorations, menu descriptions, music (mainly salsa music💃🏻) and their services. ❤️ you can find their updated menu on their official website too. alcoholic drinks/cocktails tequila lovers, must order their El Presidente Margarita. strong and fragant tequila, will get you drunk with a few glasses 😉 tequila lovers with budget can try their classic margarita, its also very nice, the tequila taste is not as strong as El Presidente, but strong enough 😂 strawberry margarita is smoother, and more suitable for people who wants to try margarita but worried that the tequila taste will be too overwhelm. the strawberry taste has covered most of the tequila taste, its perfect for sweet cocktails lover. havent had Bloody Mary for a long time caused had some bad experience in some of the bars in malaysia. 😢 but the Bloody Mary here its fine, but i dont know why some sips turned bitter in my throat? super random 😂 was looking forward for Ameratto, but its out of stock 😭😭😭😭 food beef fajitas: more meat than i expected for this price, the veggies below were delicious too. for the sides, there were more cheese than other fillings, why?😂 too little guacamole, thats my only complain. for sharing, 3 complimentary tortilla might not be enough, can add on for more. enchiladas: its very delicious, tasted like what you will get in a Mexican's home instead of in a fancy-restaurant. salad: top up chicken breast! although the chicken breast was a bit thin, but its juicy anf very flovourful. love it. salad itself was not too special, but there are some boiled potatoes which its not stated in the menu. 🤔big question mark regarding that area's parking hour limit. you are only allowed to park for an hour. why!?!?!? i'm unable to add on hours or even refresh app to pay for more hours. i even download another parking app to pay but still failed. 😩 thank god i didnt get any parking ticket.

💯 Highly recommended! 🤩 Gosh, they deserve more than just 5 stars! The food is hands down the best Mexican cuisine we've had, even compared to some Mexican eateries we’ve been in the US! The prices are reasonable for the generous portions. Their set lunch menu is worth it, including a main dish, soup of the day, ice cream of the day, and a soft drink. Every dish is perfectly flavored - the cheese, meat, and sauces harmonising in each bite. ✨ 🦪 The Mussels Habanero were exceptionally good—fresh and bursting with flavors. My grandparents even finished the broth to the very last drop! 🇲🇽The Nachos were delightful and ample enough for 3-5 people to share on the side. 🫔 The Beef Chimichanga was one of my favorite dishes, super crisp on the outside and wonderfully beefy and cheesy on the inside. 🇲🇽 The chicken enchiladas were good too, and the beef chili verde was incredibly tender and flavorful, paired well with the Mexican rice. The salads served alongside the mains were fresh, and the soup of the day was oh-so-creamy and rich! 🍮 What made our day even better was the complimentary dessert in celebration of my dad’s birthday, flan de Macadamia, which was amaaaazing! 🤠🪇🎸They sang Happy Birthday with a guitar, maracas, and a Mexican hat for my dad. We were floored when they gifted us a printed picture taken at the table as memorabilia. 🎞️ 👩🏻‍🍳 The service was truly amazing—attentive and warm. The place is clean, cozy and well-decorated. We all had a blast. ❤️🙌🏼 Thank you so much, Las Caresstas, for such a wonderful meal and warm hospitality. It’s rare to find places that not only serve great authentic food but also have excellent service. You can feel their love and passion in everything they do. We’re already excited to return and explore the rest of the menu. P.S. They have been operating for 28 years! = experienced and authentic dining experience!😍

I decided to come to this place after a decade (having very good memories since my last visit) and I was thoroughly let down by the taste, quality and portion of the food served. For starters, I ordered the guacamole dip (RM28.50)(pictured below) (in my mind I was eagerly waiting for the portion be at least half of what you would get a Chillis but out came a meagre portion of nachos with guacamole (which tasted bland). I also had the the Mushroom soup (RM 15.50 (If you wanted truffle oil, you'll need to pay RM17.50 for it - what a joke in my opinion) while my partner ordered the Mexican Chilli Soup (RM12.90) which was nothing to shout about. Though their garlic bread was decent. The margaritas were average as we ordered those as well. For the mains, I ordered the Chili Con Carne (RM34.50)(pictured below) while my partner ordered the Oaxacan Shrimp (RM47.90). Both taste like boxed meals out from a microwave. Wanting to give this place another chance, I decided to try the Sopapillas De Manzana (RM18.90) for dessert and the portion was so small. My partner and I finished it in two mouthfuls. At this point I could not even be bothered to take any more pictures as I was utterly disappointed. Paying RM234.00 for the bill compounded the feelings to make it worst. The only saving grace about this place was the servers who were really attentive and did their jobs well. The one star I am giving for this review is for that. This is my first and last time visiting this restaurant; there is nothing "Mexican" about this place sorry to say.

I would recommend this place to people who want to enjoy good Mexican food with friends and family. Overall experience was a 5/5 rating of the place.

The food is a 5/5. We had a gathering of a birthday celebration. Had their fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, nachos, pitcher of el presidente margarita and a virjin mojito. Overall based on what we order, food was delivered on timely manner, food taste was delicious on my pallet, and food freshness was good.

Ambience and atmosphere, I would rate this 4/5. The reason for deduction of 1 point would be the table was closely arranged to each other. I do understand perhaps the management of restaurant would like to maximise the number of patrons to dine in, however such close proximity sometimes provides less privacy dining experience. We could hear what other table was talking or if we were talking too loud we are afraid it might be a disturbance to other diners. Perhaps an area of improvement if the management of the restaurant to re-arrange the table to ensure abit more privacy to patrons.

Lastly their service. If I could give them a 6/5, I would. Greetings and welcome was on point when each diner walked in. We were talking to each other about our friends birthday, to the attention of the waiter they heard and immediately without even us asking directly gave us a pretty awesome celebration for my friend. It was a memorable experience when they service provided was so personalised and attentive to detail. The most important part they made a quick print picture of our memorable experiences. That is very personalised. I would give a huge shout out to #Rafi who waited us and gave us such wonderful experience at Las Carretas.

Hence, would advise if you wish to have good food, good service dont be stingy on paying a price for it. Please don't expect to pay RM5, but expect a 3 Michelin star service and experience.
