Nasi Kandar Pelita — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

🚨 Watch out! If you’re thinking of choosing this Pelita branch at puchong, please think twice. Personally, I found the food here extremely disappointing—or maybe it just didn’t suit my taste. I’ve never had such terrible food at any Pelita restaurant. My past experiences with other Pelita branches were generally good, but this one was a complete letdown.

First, the Mee Goreng and Teh Ais were a disaster. I ordered Mee Goreng with a fried egg (telur mata), but ended up biting into multiple small chicken bones! It was so bad that one of the bones even hurt my gums. What a horrible start to my morning!

And the Teh Ais? Absolutely tasteless—no hint of tea flavor at all. I asked for “kurang manis” (less sweet), but it turned out to be nothing but sugar water. The only decent thing I had was the Roti Canai.

Ordered a "limau ais with asam boi while waiting for my take away mee goreng, only to be slapped with a RM 6.65 charge at the counter for the drink. When I asked why, the cashier casually said they charge it as "lemon asam boi" since they "don’t have a pricing" for my drink! Seriously?? What kind of nonsense is that? Why even the waiter took the order if the drink is not in their menu??

A regular limau ais costs RM 2++ at the same restaurant, and now suddenly adding 2 asam boi turns it into some overpriced magical luxury drink? In fact the mee goreng was cheaper than the drink!

No refund, no apology—just an arrogant brush-off. Poor service with zero accountability.

The worst nasi kandar period. Puchong pelita use to be good. Nan was tasteless tandoori chicken was like from yesterday just heated was dry. The mutton was tasteless first time I ate mutton which was boiled again n again until no taste. The fried chicken smells like fish probably fried in same oil as fish. The guy in the picture when I complaint about fishy chicken he just took the chicken without a word cam back and say u want somemore chicken I said no he cancel in the bill walk away without a word.
