When my friend told me about this pet cafe, I was very excited to go. Today i drove all the way there with my dog to experience this pet cafe. I left feeling terrible and upset, do read on to find out why.
This pet cafe has many in-house dogs owned by the cafe owner and at first look they are very cute, fluffy and gorgeous but towards the end of my stay there I have realised something was not quite alright about them - they are all extremely skinny and hungry!
I picked up and petted a few of the dogs there like the toy poodle, shih tzu, pomeranian and others, they are all very very skinny, like skin and bones! I could feel their ribs, spine, and sharp hip bones, this could only mean one thing - they have not been fed enough! on the outside you cannot tell their skinniness and malnutrition because these breeds have a lot of fur and very fluffy. At first I thought it was may be only one or two, but I touch many of them they are all skin and bones!
And when my food and my dog's food came they all came and surround themselves at my table begging for food! I fed some of my dog's food to few of the dogs, they were extremely eager they almost bit my fingers! I began to realised after a while - they are super hungry!
I have been to other pet cafe with in-house dogs who are well fed (you know they are well fed because you cannot feel their ribs, spine and hip bones so prominently), none of them came to your table just because you have food.
I am not sure if this is the tactic so customers will have dogs surrounding them, but my heart broke thinking about how hungry these dogs are day after day, especially in a cafe filled with aroma of food!
To the owner of this cafe, I am not sure if you are aware of your dog's situation, but you are not feeding them enough! I appeal to you to please give them more food!
So if you are a customer going to this cafe, please join me to plead with the owner to feed his/her dog enough and well. It is not cute when the dog begs for food because it is so hungry!
I hope when I come again to this pet cafe, I will meet the same dogs again but they will no longer be hungry nor will they need to beg for...
Read morewent back after their relocation. went on a saturday and the dogs are everywhere and constantly coming in. ive been to alot of dog cafes, and this place has the most dogs so far. very veryyy overwhelming. suggest to come during lunch time, because thats when the dogs are most hyper, they bump each other hard alot haha. and when i sit down, randomly my leg got saliva haha. the nasi lemak is unexpectedly good and spicy. altho the price is hiked up compared to street nasi lemak, but its still better than street nasi lemak. theres a lot of odd food mixed all together in one place, for ex, kungfu chao. the food takes a while to come, and the chicken chop portion was questionable for the price, but its ok. my first time petting a pig (i was too scared ill break my back carrying it so i didnt, maybe nxt time) and the smallest most fragile baby dog (super light) hes so soft and always begs to be carried even after i put him down. honestly cleanliness or taste of food is not a big problem for me, because i was entirely distracted by the dogs the whole time. and the staffs are so casually unfiltered talking like at home. its so fun i want to...
