Tasty Roast Fish Restaurant @ Puchong — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I rarely am impressed by the level of service and food. And this really made my day. The shop is located in a darker part of Puchong, so definitely use Waze and drive carefully if you are heading in for dinner. The deco exudes a warm chinese feeling and the manager is very friendly and explained everything well. We sat outside and the temperature was just nice. We ordered the sweet and sour fish set. They have a promo ongoing for crabs at RM 9.90 per piece, only if you order the fish set and drop a google review. But trust me, that ain't the reason why I was impressed and park a high rating. Crabs were on the smaller side but hey it's RM 9.90. Usual price is aroung RM 40 per piece but despite the size, the meat is fresh and sweet. Fish was well cooked and soup is spot on. It is like a salted vege tofu soup. If you like sour and spicy, then this dish will tickle your taste bud. Pair it down with sour plum juice to end the meal. Be careful not to touch the wok as it is being heated up by gas. A sink is provided outside for your convenience to wash your hands after taking in the crab. To the nice manager, please provide soap. I would also suggest having more drink selections. Overall, a wonderful find and will return to try...

Food presentation 5 Taste 3.5 simply because the food is not 100% cooked but their rationale is that we need to let it continue to cook when they serve ( like steamboat style ) but the amount of soup they give is like less than half so how to expect the seafood to be thoroughly cooked when there's no enough soup to cook it ? Then when we asked for extra soup , they mentioned there will be rm10 extra charges.

Honestly we don't mind the extra soup charges but seriously they should have put enough soup initially so we are able to cook it thoroughly so if you wanna try it , please make sure when they serve they pour enough soup to cover simmer the seafood else there's no way to make sure th seafood is 100% cooked .

Overall I think the food not too bad...just that once it's not fully cooked and we need to pay extra for adding extra soup then it's just putting people off .

And the staff who helped us stir the seafood at first did dropped one of our big tiger prawn on table and he didn't even have the courtesy to replace one of the big tiger prawn for us but he just wash it off and return back to us thr...

We came here first time for father’s day. We have no idea how to order the dishes and there’s no one to serve and introduce the dish to us. We have waited very long time to have someone to serve and place order.

I don’t really comment about the food because nothing is impressive but you still can go to try it.

When we want to pay the bill, they requested us to give two google reviews in order to enjoy “RM49 crab special deal”. It’s a PWP deal with the signature roast fish from RM88.

I have gathered my family’s opinion to give a honest review but the restaurant seems like only can accept 5-star review by replying my review in sarcastic and rude way. I have feedback to the restaurant by WhatsApp but they never respond...
