Went here and try few things:
Creamy coffee: black coffee with salted cream. Very nice, the black coffee have some tang/sourness which is a nice mix with the salty cream.
Gula melaka latte:smooth, light latte with gula melaka sweetness. A good match and very nice.
Gula melaka matcha: matcha with gula melaka. The matcha is rightly bitter, a nice contrast with sweet gula melaka.
The croissant (i tried both butter & ham&cheese). Both are excellent. The croissant is just perfect, flaky, crunchy with some resistance when bite into it, and once u got through, u are welcomed by a soft, fluffy bread. It's an amazing combination of texture. After 1 bite, i can't stop. Wolfed it down in mere seconds.
The ham&cheese is more savoury, more of a heavy meal conpare to the butter one. Between the ham slices, there's something, i can't identify. Is it a cream with blackpepper, or something else, but it elevates the whole dish from just being a ham&cheese sandwich.
Both croissant are buttery, but not too buttery , with subtle saltiness to it, to make it a more rounded, complete flavor.
I came here for some coffee, and found them, but i went home with something better. An excellent, truly amazing, well flavored...
Read morethis place is just super pretty and chill. really feels like a jungle. sat here from super hot sun until heavy rain thunderstorm. went there when they first opened. staffs were super nervous and wanted to do their very best, so kept asking what we think about the drinks n cakes. even explained their menu in detail. they always come out with pretty cakes and new drinks every once in a while. everything tastes normal, nothing different or amazing, but there is nothing bad to say about the place either.
came back again and just realised theyre not shy/awkward, but theyre just overstaffed in such a tight space, and react really slowly to customers. bear in mind, they only serve coffee and ready made cakes. and theyre only handling 5 tables. to me, it feels like 6 staffs are in charge of making 1 coffee. i couldnt get a table because i didnt book before coming, so i tapau 2 cakes instead. it took them almost 15min to put it in a box (i think). but i really dont care about service la. its just something to keep in mind when coming here next time.
matchacha (mousse) cake - amazing! the best matcha cake in malaysia. every shade of green tastes like matcha from every prefecture in japan. even the white part...
Read moreWe got a bit confused about the location since there is no cafe name sign board outside the cafe, the name board shown was "Plant & Pot" instead so they are actually the same 😅
We don't know this place is small and has very limited seats only so we need to wait for half an hour for the seats, which is okay since we are allowed to go inside viewing those plants and gardening deco things they sell. So remember to make a reservation if you would like to come. And this place only sells cakes and drinks. No main dishes😅 No wifi and you can only sit for 90 mins.
I love this place as they have many choices of cakes and creative flavour of drinks. I like the blueberry lemon cake as it's quite refreshing. For drinks I prefer iced earl grey chocolate, salted gula melaka coffee latte, and hainanese latte (not listed in menu but refer to their daily specials, they use kaya so the coffee has some coconut sweetness).
P.s. the owner/s must have environmental conscious as they provide hand towel to wipe your hand at the washroom to reduce paper waste and they use recyclable straws for...
