A simple, minimalist Japanese cafe. The environment is simple and nice with no impressive renovation or decoration as the owner is putting huge focus on the F&B.

Most of the signature foods and beverages are hard not to capture the heart of the patrons. Among those are:

  1. Buranchi breaky (sweet & sour yogurt cream adds great flavour and nutrition to match with the condiments)
  2. Omu & friends (cheese omelette is superb)
  3. Buta don (very tender pork slices)
  4. Saba shio set (generous portion of saba)
  5. Okonomiyaki (very heavy texture flavour)

Drinks wise:

  1. Honey coffee(very sweet honey taste might not suitable for some pure coffee lovers)
  2. Chokohi(mild salty taste added some unique flavour to this mocha coffee)
  3. Ocha

I'm very impressed with all of the dishes served, The staff are a bit under trained and requested to clean up the dishes which we haven't finished (while not clearing only those which have finished). The washroom area might need some refurbishment as it's a little unpleasing to use.

Anyhow, this is a great cafe to enjoy some well-prepared...

[March 2022]

Caramel pudding is great. Interesting cafe setting. They seem to be more well known for their omu rice.

My friend tried the chicken katsu curry rice. It was acceptable for its price, though a bit pricey for around RM16. I tried the Tori don. At first it was a bit typical, but the slightly cooked egg really enhanced the taste. Unfortunately, the pickles were annoyingly sour to my liking. RM17 hmm, maybe reducing it by RM1-2 is ok.

Caramel pudding was really worth it. At RM5 with the aesthetics and taste, the texture is just what I would want to have.

Staff would follow instructions as the remarks given in the order interface. I would suggest improving friendliness though, because I felt it was a bit cold. It is understandable to feel or to be shy, but I’m sure customers won’t bite.

Environment was great and considered ambient, though it can be a bit noisy when there’s a lot of people. From the etiquette that was promoted for a quiet environment, I suggest that some soundproofing upgrade could be done like adding...

First visit to this cafe on a working Tuesday. Parking was a challenge to find in this area. The restaurant itself was still quite empty by 12-ish but filled up by the time we left at 1.30pm. Didn't really like the qr scan to order as do most restaurants have this system in recent times. Food was served within 15 -20 minutes of placing order. Loved their okonomiyaki (no soba)! It was crispy and sweet sour I will definitely come back for this. The tonkotsu ramen didnt really taste very authentic, but we still liked the "heavily flavored" taste. We will definitely order this again too. But the gyu don was a no-no for us, sorry but it lacks flavor...did not like chokohi, but the honey matcha was a yes! Bittersweet. Would definitely come back to try out the other items in the menu! Price is on the reasonable side. What's listed on the menu is the final price you pay. No other service or govt tax so this is a...
