Had blue fish, honey smoke chicken and Sun-tea. The honey smoke chicken and blue fish were disappointingly terrible.

The honey smoke chicken was so dry and hard that it can be used as a self defense weapon. To make things worse, it was also extremely salty.

Like the honey smoke chicken, the blue fish was also dry and hard, but not hard enough to be used as a self defense weapon. Also, like the honey smoke chicken, it had a third flaw: it tasted fishy. And not in a good way.

The silver lining of our dinner turned out to be the side dishes (coleslaw, fries, bun, mashed potato), for they were at least decent enough for consumption, which means we didn't have to starve. But why would anyone want to pay over 70 bucks to fill two hungry stomachs with fries and coleslaw, when Mcd and KFC offer these items at a much cheaper price, right?

Lastly, the sun-tea tasted suspiciously like Ribena, so I'm doubtful it is really "good for the cholesterol", as the restaurant claimed...

The Nam Yu chicken was pure disaster, taste terribly awful.

Went for takeaway on 26/12/2021. Ordered on the spot and done ordering around 6.15pm. Not so much of customers at that time and was told our meal will be ready in 20 minutes.

End up waiting for almost 50 minutes and noticed that there are customers who came later already finishing their meal.

When the staff sent us the packed food they didn't pack properly and the plastic bag was dirty due to sauce. Because of the waiting time too long than expected, we just checked with whether the items are all correct with the staff and the staff told us all correct and we have to leave immediately back to home.

While having our meal only we realised there's no mushroom soup packed for us although in our receipt written 3 mushroom soup ordered. Tried to call but nvr anyone pick up and due to the distance to the restaurant, we just gave...

In all fairness to the comments, some are valid , some are not.

First of all, the food is decent to the price you are paying. Some of it like the salmon, too small portion but the chicken is fine. At 20 odd bucks with ice cream, I think for your family, it's reasonable value. Heck , even A&W charges more for their fried chicken.

Some coming in paying peanuts but expecting the service of Dewakan, Thirty8, Fuego are utter ridiculous. Its a no frills, you come because its cheap and decent.

Otherwise spend 500 perhead at your top fine dining restaurants, they would serve you by course and all warm.

Personally, some dishes need some improvements, but I wouldn't call it a disaster. At this time and age, you are paying this much, can't complain. Hope they sustain their...
