Had dinner here today (29th June) and I must say I’m a huge fan of Hai Di Lao and steamboat, I’ve also eaten at a lot of steamboat shops across many countries. This is honestly a rare gem. Of course don’t come here expecting it to be better or on the same level as Hai Di Lao because they are on very different business model.

Service is very friendly, while I was there only 2 staff spoke Chinese and one of them that seated us down and took our order was very 亲切. Asked us if it was our first time there and recommended us what was good and what to get. Told her what we don’t like or eat and she knew the menu inside out. Them and the rest of the staff were very attentive and cleared our tables regularly, topped up soup and checked on us.

Pork bone soup is a must get, extremely flavourful and addictive, but not like the MSG addictive as even though the flavours were on the strong side, it’s very pork-ish and heart warming from the first bowl. Of course it develops over time as you add more ingredients. Highly recommend you get this and pair with another clear soup. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Maybe the fried stuff could be fried longer for more crispiness but it’s just my preference

Atmosphere and ambience very chill and quiet, which I appreciate as HDL is usually crowded, noisy and chaotic.

Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back with family...

I happened to chance upon this place on google reviews - saw eating 5 ⭐️ and mostly are really very good comments! Went and tried it today with my family. Living up to the review and we had pork bone and tomato soups! Pork bone is soup is really nice. We ordered fried lala mee hoon as well yummy!

This place has only been opened since 1/4/23 (formerly Donutes cafe) air con placed. Service is really very good! I was serviced by a young lady - she asked if we are 1st time there and she recommended us a few things. You can choose the set of 2-5 I think and add ala carte as well. Overall 👍🏼 really good food.

You can take free ice cream upon finishing the mains. Strawberry, mint, taro, chocolate and vanilla flavours - highly recommended

First, their signature think bone broth is absolutely amazing. It's rich, flavorful, and has a deep bone essence. You can even add Martell to it, which adds a delightful layer of complexity to the taste. If you're a fan of broth, this is a must-try!

Their seafood is incredibly fresh. We ordered the tiger prawns and clams, and the freshness really stood out. The prawns were plump and juicy, and you can tell they were alive just before cooking—the texture was perfect.

The ambiance is also really nice, they have vip rooms too. It’s a great spot for gathering with family or friends.
