Just discovered this amazing Japanese restaurant, and I have to say, it’s a true hidden gem! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. If you're a yakitori fan, you have to try their chicken wings and bonjiri – absolutely delicious! Their Nabemono is huge—easily enough to feed 3-4 people, and the soup will win you over instantly.
Even better, they’re now under new management, and some of the prices have been adjusted, making it an even better deal! For beer lovers, you can grab 10 mugs of Sapporo for just RM150++ – a perfect way to enjoy a night out. And here’s the kicker: they now offer a pet-friendly space in their VIP room, so you can bring your furry friends along too!
With even more exciting new dishes on the menu, I can’t wait to go back and try them all. The place is super clean, the service is warm and friendly, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Honestly, it's an easy 5-star experience. If you're in Puchong and craving authentic Japanese flavors, this spot is...
Read moreOur neighbourhood Japanese restaurant was closed for the day, so I turned to Google Maps to find an alternate spot that’s open past 10pm.
We were prepared to be disappointed as we had no luck with food that day, but we were pleasantly surprised by our visit here.
The ambiance and service was great from the get-go. We ordered drinks and it was served quickly. The staffs also checked on us and refilled our drinks often.
Food was served shortly after we placed our order. Helps that we were the last few customers ordering for the night. Our favorite dishes were the chicken gizzard and unagi rice, but overall food quality was good. If anything, the tempura mentaiko was too salty. Goes well with plain rice, but I don’t recommend eating it on its own.
The bill came up to around RM200 not including beer which is standard fare for such restaurants. I think it’s a nice place for hangouts with friends or just dinner with family. It’s cosy enough for a date spot too.
Will definitely return with friends and...

Upbeat Japanese pop songs, comfortable seatings, great Kirin beer, masterful handling of the ingredients, that's what you get dining here.
Oversee by passionate bosses striving to offer the best dining experience, everything from the food to service had been a pleasant surprise.
For a Yakitori place, surprisingly the Shoyu Ramen (something that you dont expect to be a main attraction) is really good. Even my "food critic" mom couldnt stop complimenting the food.
Glad we gave Tokuya a go. Definitely one of the best dining experience...
